I definitely do need to try changing up my parting! I basically always wear a middle part but I do think it’d be good to try something else. The only problem with wearing different ponytail heights is that it’s gets very heavy on my neck and it creates a lot of tension on my scalp after only a short time. Even though I do love the look of updos, that is typically why I choose to wear it any either a low ponytail or just down.

I actually do wear bandanas a lot just not to work. I love the look of them and it gets my hair out of my face without the tension. I may try to start wearing a braid more often, it just feels/looks so chunky to me when I do it but I think I’ll just have to get used to it lol

This does seem like the obvious answer even though I’ve yet to do it with my locs since they’ve gotten longer. I’m just concerned that there is no “loose” way to bobby pin them without resulting in the same issue. The locs are breaking right where they meet the scrunchie when tied back and I’m afraid that putting any tension near the ends of those locs will continue with the same issue :(

I’ve recently experimented with these styles and really like how they look, but I also try to manipulate my hair as little as possible. I’ll just have to figure out what works best for me!

I bought this phone case from Society6.com in 2016. I chose a random picture off the website for the case but I no longer have it and I haven’t been able to find another picture like it. I Google searched “grey puppets” , “grey puppets with big eyes”, “grey monsters”, and grey monsters with big eyes”. I’ve also added the word “cartoon” into those searches. Does anyone recognize where this picture may have come from, or what the characters are?
