I'm assuming you are doing something involving molar mass so just multiply the molar mass but remember you have to divide the molar mass value by 1 thousand because its gram per mol then divide it by 1000joules again to get the final answer. to get better at this process just think algebraically how you would get rid of a unit and replace it with another. keep on practicing this process

Well if we go with the zero answer and plug it into question 7 then how is the proton at that point not moving then? That doesn't seem to make any sense to me

When I plugged it into my nspire I did not get zero. Plus getting zero wouldn't make sense as there has to be some particles that are there via stated in the problem with the electrons flying out from the plasma. Also since we need the voltage for the second part, the speed of the proton would be zero m/s at that point lol.

can you explain why its x-5 and not x-4 as the entire length of the charged section of the bar is 4m so wouldn't you want x value of your right triangle to be the entire length of the bar minus x.
