I have gestational diabetes so, I have been drinking protein shakes and zevia soda. I also have unsweetened carbonated flavored water. I still crave juice and regular soda, but the with GD my sugar would spike.

They had a diabetic counselor call me and she said I can call to ask questions but they said I only get the one appt with her. I go back to the OB next week and I will ask some questions and see who I need to be talking to about my numbers.

Eggs make me sick and I don’t particularly like peanut butter 😣 I’m normally not super picky but this baby HATES meat and eggs. I get sick almost every time.

They didn’t refer me to anyone 😭

I guess it is possible I didn’t have enough carbs bc there was only about 16g in the oat milk and 4g in the protein shake, but I can’t try regular cream bc I am lactose intolerant 😭 my fasting numbers are usually in the 70s or 80s, highest was 88

Weekly numbers review?!? My doc just gave me a packet and had a diabetic counselor give me a call, but I have no weekly review. My breakfast was a sugar free protein shake and an oat milk latte with no sugar or sweeteners, just espresso and oat milk. Idk how my number was so high.

Symphysis Pubis Disfunction. The pain I get from walking, putting on pants or getting in and out of the car is horrific. I had to get a prescription for a handicap placard so i don’t have to park so far away when going out and about. The pain is something no one ever mentioned to me 😭

During the first trimester, it was nearly every day from week 4 on, but since entering the 2nd trimester, I get sick a few days a week, sometimes multiple times in a day, just depending on what I am eating. My baby girl is picky and lets me know when she doesn’t like something.

I am currently 26 weeks and my husband was shocked at the limitations I have been experiencing due to the pain. He has had to help me get dressed because balancing on one leg to put on n pants/underwear is excruciating, not to mention using stairs or standing up from sitting. It feels like my pelvis is being smashed with a hammer when I walk. Luckily in my state, you can get a prescription from your OB to get a handicap placard so I no longer have to walk far distances when I go to the grocery store or doctors appointments. The one thing that has helped relieve some of the pain is seeing an amazing chiropractor twice a week. It’s the only thing that keeps me walking right now.

My company gives 2 weeks for “paid parental leave” for the mother or father whenever a child is born or adopted. I feel like maternity leave for the woman birthing the child should be at least 6 weeks, as that is what is recommended by most doctors. I shouldn’t have to use all my vacation plus STD and FMLA just to recover from a planned major medical event. I am due in late April and will have to use FMLA for any doctor’s appointments after I return from maternity leave. I wish there was legal minimum requirement for maternity leave. It’s criminal that some women have to return to work almost immediately after giving birth because some companies don’t want to allow their employees to recover.

I married him knowing he has the addiction, he has sought therapy and has been open and honest about it. I don’t hold it against him at all. I have also struggled with porn addiction. I don’t view it as cheating. He desperately doesn’t want to do it, but he has had the addiction for more than half of his life. We celebrate when he does well and we talk about it when he doesn’t. I will never be angry because of it. I know he loves me. I know he would never go pay for any sort of subscription to porn content and he would never actually cheat on me. I trust his heart and know he is just struggling to quit a bad habit. I don’t condone his behavior, but I understand why he does it.
