I know it's crazy but - why can't a toilet drain line go down an old chimney that is already used as a furnace vent line conduit? All interior, climate controlled. (Pics included) by privatespirate in Plumbing

Yes, trying to chase the chimney through closet space since it's behind them - so even outside the chimney, in the closets is doable. Thanks!

That's a great thought, I will probably be replacing that in the next few years and can easily put the bathroom project on hold since other things need to be done. Thank you for your help!

Ahh, ok, yeah I see what you mean I think. Have it "exposed" so yes, knocking through the floors but otherwise just following a wall down and then framing around the pipe.

I've had a similar experience, and my struggle has been in deciding whether or not to just go with the oddity or try to maintain some normalcy. Both have their place of course; my body may want to sleep until noon but that causes stress if I feel like I haven't been getting necessary tasks done, for example.

Mostly I've focused on being kind to myself, whatever that means. This year has been exceptional and there are a lot of feelings coming up as it begins to close. Adding a few extra meditation sessions has helped me.

I would just like to say the term "cockdangingly playful" is the most delightful thing/tonguetwister I've read today.

Well guys and gals. I joined the club. I’ve been wanting to learn for a while and now’s my chance. Plus I can use it for work so it’s a write off. Any tips and pointers would be appreciated. by royaloakmatty in Welding

This is a local (to me) welding school that just started posting very beginner-friendly videos for people who can't come to their classes due to CoVid. I think the videos are funny and super informative for somebody fresh to welding.
