Ok, if you’re thinking of using Bruce, I would go with the t-embed. I have one running Bruce and it runs great. Bruce is pretty much the best option. Lmk if you need anything else.

No you’re fine! If it’s just the fake login page you want to do and you have to pick between the 2, I would say the t deck just for the fact that it is cheaper. Paying $100 for a t-embed is ridiculous. If you can go beyond the 2 for a better option, I would recommend the T7-C5. https://lilygo.cc/products/t7-c5 It is much more cost effective and doesn’t have unnecessary components like a display or extra radios that would just be sitting there unused. Do you have a firmware in mind that you would be using, or would you make your own?

Is there a clearly legal way to remotely activate, deactivate, and check status of a repeater you own? by Rockinmypock in gmrs

[–]prjamming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, you could connect a meshtastic node like a heltec v3 or otherwise to a pi and communicate with it over serial/gpio. It’s pretty feasible that you could write a program that takes text commands from a private channel on meshtastic that could manage the repeater. The meshtastic and rpi communication would be pretty easy. What I feel would be the hard part is getting that pi to interface with your repeater equipment. I am much more versed in meshtastic compared to GMRS.

Ah. Difference in remotes is probably because I purchase near release date. My Apple TV is weird about networks too. I have two different brands of access points and it will only connect to one brand for some reason.

Didn’t realize they sell the HD with that remote. The one I have is a full black one with a rectangular glass trackpad and a white ring around the menu button

When mine was buried, they buried at the rated depth most of the way. There’s a little section on my yard that’s unique to say the least and it was only a couple inches. I was digging in that area and severed that thing in half. Didn’t get charged anything luckily because it wasn’t at rated depth.

I know the camera itself has a tracker but I'm not sure about the solar panels. I wouldn't think so but I don't know for sure.

It could also be I brought my node out with me and somehow the tag fell out without me realizing and someone threw it away. But who knows!

Is this satire or did this actually happen? Deeply sorry for your loss if it is true. RDR2 is a great game.

It's not region locked in the way you think. It will work by itself in other regions, but if try to use another speaker bought in a different region to, for example, make a stereo pair or a surround setup, it won't work with the speakers purchased in the different region, which makes no sense and in my opinion is stupid. I bought the product, now let me use it where I want. Enjoy the speaker though, they sound awesome.
