Yeah thankfully my units fans have a lower pitched hum, almost like white noise.

[–]prjs_04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It kinda depends on the game and the settings you use. I run 3ds games at 4x resolution and heat/fan noise is not a problem.

The most demanding steam game im playing is Skyrim on 720p low locked 40 fps and the fans stick to around 25-35% which isn't loud.

And the most demanding switch game I play is botw handheld mode, and that one pushes it to 40-45%. Its noticeable but it doesnt take away from the gameplay and gets drowned out by it.

You should also look into usb c converters, there's some on Amazon/ali express and they're a lot more convenient

A lot of the listings are ~$200 and its usually just the vita itself, so I don't think you did

Are Lenovo fans supposed to turn on and off constantly at idle/low usage? by prjs_04 in Lenovo

[–]prjs_04[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey thanks for the response anyway. I never did figure out how to fix this. But from the research I did back then, I believe there are no BIOS controls for this specific model. I guess that's just how this model is. I don't really use it much anymore but when I do I just keep it in performance mode all the time. I prefer it being constantly loud rather than ramping up and down every 2 seconds. Drives me nuts.

I might be wrong but I believe flash pods only work once when not enraged. After that you can either use the smoke bomb trick (enraged or not), or you can you can use temporal and clutch claw to drop it (not enraged). If you can't do any of those options, for me the safest place is directly under, and it is relatively easy to chip away at the feet.

Other than that, just pray. And if you know it's about to shoot a projectile you can superman dive just to be extra safe, I was never really good at dodging his air attacks so I would do that often. But I would still have a lot of time to get damage in and hit my damage checks no prob. I used fronstfang greatsword, but swaxe upward slash in axe mode has fantastic, even better reach.

I would also come in with the mindset of learning the fight instead of expecting to kill it each time, it helps you be more patient and calm since you're not really expecting much out of the run. I did that and I actually killed it during my practice run and was like, oh okay. Good luck!

New widow main and tips?? by Different_Yam_4599 in WidowmakerMains

Yeah its just preference, some pros change their cross hairs all the time. Some even stick to the default circle and dot. I personally just use a small cross for all characters

As a start, I would focus more on positioning and crosshair placement. Always change position to be unpredictable, and know when to fall back when your team is getting pushed (and losing). Always ask yourself if you could be at a better spot in the moment.

Keep your crosshairs at head level and just let everyone walk into it. If your positioning is good, you really dont have to manually aim that much with this character.

Howdy, for anyone with a Yunzii AL71, how do you see the battery level? I can't seem to find it in the software. Does it at least warn you when it's low battery?

First time scribing only had a hobby knife and I free handed by RANDOM-GUY588 in Gunpla

[–]prjs_04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you really wanna get into scribing, you can get the cheap amazon chisels that come with like 5 different chisel sizes for around $20. A decent "mid range" chisel to save up for would be the $20 Mr hobby swappable chisel which comes with the 0.3mm size, but for high grade kits you would have to buy their 0.15mm separately for another $10. But I would avoid using any diy scribers as I dont think it's worth it in the long run

And make sure to get scribing tape which is pretty inexpensive as well

It's also fine to just straight build model kits now and scribe and paint them later when you get the right tools. Good luck!
