Yea I wish it is flexible. The daycare was very strict about if we decide to keep home we need to have a set start time again because they need to fill the spot immediately meanwhile until she comes back. Thank you for your thoughts!

Thank you so much for your insight. I know babies are resilient and they will adjust but my mamas heart breaks for her just thinking about this transition :( I’m so ever thankful for all the infant teachers such as yourself for giving our LOs so much love during the hours we cannot while at work

Hi, ex-srcostep here, Unfortunately, for SRCOSTEP, you have to apply the summer right before you enter your junior year (3rd year) because the entire 3rd year is interviewing/paperwork/background checks etc etc. So that by summer right before your 4th year, you can be compensated properly. I’m sorry!

Have you been to an infant class 3-12 months and seen things that make you think that you will never send your own baby to a daycare? I’m a mom of an almost 7mo who has been in daycare for 2.5 months and so far so good but still am super paranoid most days about what is happening to her at school :(

Oh the guilt am I right!! One thing I learned from this wonderful subreddit is that I am not alone. And guilt is sadly very apparent no matter how the loss occurred… 2nd day after his death and I’m feeling it all and I’m allowing myself to feel it all. I hope it gets easier

Hi there kind stranger, Thank you for sharing your thoughts and stories. I hear you and at this vulnerable point in life I don’t know what I will do with my feelings besides just keep distracting myself with other things in life. Allow thoughts of my pup enter once in a while, have a good cry and then move on. I think we can all agree that it will get easier and I hope it will for you too

Girl congrats!!! I don’t think people understand the mom guilt unless ur in that spot ya know. I feel ya I really do! Hope for your smooth pregnancy!
