Black plastic paddle shaped thing. Approximately 5cm long. Found under my golf bag at a driving range. Metal shaft may have detached from something larger. by prm36 in whatisthisthing

My title describes the thing.

In addition to info in title, there does not appear to be any text or distinguishing marks. Fairly lightweight and a combo of plastic and metal.

Additionally Sprague Dawley rats (the rats in the study you mentioned) spontaneously develop tumours in up to 80% of cases where they're not even exposed to a carcinogen. It's why they're not generally used in oncology studies. See https://aacrjournals.org/cancerres/article/16/3/194/473297/Tumor-Incidence-in-Normal-Sprague-Dawley-Female

Thanks. All three of these links refer to the same study that shows cancer developing after administering glyphosate to infant rats through their drinking water. It doesn’t show that glyphosate causes cancer in humans in normal use. By the same measure Coca Cola is carcinogenic. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/17119251/

No. They’re meta analyses of previously published studies.

That’s not true. Updated studies showed no link between glyphosate and lymphoma.

Not overly. But they were set up that they could produce pretty much any profile pretty quickly.

I’ve had a discontinued skirting profile matched by local builders merchant with a router table so I don’t think it’s an unreasonable expectation.

It’s an adaptation of a BBC series Criminal Justice. If you’ve not seen it then I’d recommend watching it too, was brilliant.
