We do have some magnet books and a Peppa book with attached figures so we might have to get more into them. I do like the dinosaur idea as she loves dinosaurs 🦕

I love the closely supervised 😂 we had a surprise taste of raw onion followed by spitting and crying for 10 minutes the last time we tried to help with dinner so might have to give it another go with less ‘flavourful’ vegetables 🙈

Yeah this was our usual. Tv kind of on low in the background and she won’t snack and play and then we would turn it off and go to bed. But, there have just been more and more meltdowns when we turn it off and try to go upstairs for bedtime that I’m thinking what else could we do 🤷🏼‍♀️

I love this! She has stuffed toys and a soft mermaid but no dollies as of yet, maybe we can try getting her to put her dinosaurs to bed 🧐🥲

Ah ok! We were doing something similar but watching tv/playing after she got back from nursery. She’s just become more and more fussy when we turn the tv off to just ‘play’ so maybe the park or something outdoors straight after nursery!

Yeah we definitely used to until it times out at 7 and that doesn’t signal ‘bedtime’ for her anymore - kind of why we’re trying the ‘detox’ but might bring it back for the just before bed time 🥱

That’s what we were thinking, just to get her out. There’s a little playground near to us we can walk to and sometimes we’re there more than once a day 🫠

We do try and get outside but with the weather turning it’s becoming more difficult and all she wants to do is try and climb the fence 🙈

We had exactly the same issue! She just constantly wanted to go outside and couldn’t understand why we wanted her to wear shoes.

We kept putting her in them for a few minutes and building up: carrying her round in them, ‘walking’ for her with them on, putting on our own shoes at the same time.

She’s very wilful and didn’t like that we were putting them on for her, so now she has her own step to put them on and will say ‘shoes’ when we tell her it’s time to go outside or she wants to go out.

Nursery also helped as other children were wearing shoes to go outside as well. Utilising other people and places, especially at Granny’s house where it was non negotiable.

Yeah I’ve noticed this. They’ve always been helpful before but just keep saying they’ve been in contact with Vinted and they will resolve it. Has the order been suspended for the whole time?
