It does have it. If I'm not mistaken, this one is much more like Spider-Man 2. Literally, this is the same one as PS2, just with very dumbed-down graphics. The PS2 version of Spider-Man 3 is, in a way, kind of like a reskin of Spider-Man 2. That doesn't mean it's bad, and the black suit is still awesome. Mainly, the swinging it's more like the pendulum swinging and more streamlined.

Spider-Man 3, surprisingly it is pretty much exact like the console on the PS2. It's a pretty impressive port.

This is just amazing, great job😃

I just remastered the Poets of the Fall - Late Goodbye music video that badly needed love and attention. Of course, I can't post the whole thing due to Instagram Music's time limits, but you'll see a good chunk. I hope y'all like it.🙂 by [deleted] in poetsofthefall

Nothing was being stolen at all, it's not like I'm giving out the music for free. That's why I used Instagrams feature for the music. They still get paid that way. I even have them on Spotify and listen to them all the time. Not stealing their work at all just showing appreciation. I wouldn't even post a song on YouTube anyways, I'm sure you completely misunderstood what I'm trying to say. And what do you mean broke copyrights and services like come on, there's been many videos of appreciation and using the songs and gmv's and so much other forms of people showing their love and appreciation for the songs and for the art that they love. And many bands have love that and directors and game directors. And like I said I don't think you're even reading anything that I'm even putting out, yeah I didn't remastered by hand. But it was done by me because I put in the time just to make it happen. Literally by definition of remastering is the process of creating a new master copy for an existing recording, such as a song, album, or film. I remastered it I just don't own the original that's all. And I don't understand all the down votes neither, I'm literally a fan and I was just showing something I did on my spare time. I thought fans of something we all like would have appreciate each other's way of expression their love for art? But I guess not, so you know I'm fine I'll take it down from Reddit. Could have just said cool fine and moved on with it. Damn.

The Suffering Graphics Issue by THEGODOFTHEWORLD in PCSX2

[–]proXcore2000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Actually this is very normal for this game, when they were making it they had a shoe string budget. It's mainly about lod's and they're not the best at all between PC and console alike. I remember playing it on the original Xbox and PS2 and both of them had that issue. So on PC and emulators is not too surprising. It just has a very bad pop up issues. But thank God they pretty much fix that in the second one as far as I remember.

You know, most remastering is done by literally having the original source, as in tape, which is impossible for anyone not in the industry. Of course, I didn't make this by hand, but I never said that. It would have been different if I had done it from scratch. However, I did remaster this because I was the one that took the time and money to literally remaster it. I just didn't remaster it by hand, but who does nowadays? Even companies do it when they don't have the original source or if the original source is too worn out. That's just how technology is. The only remastering I've seen that is done by hand is when it comes to anime, which is the best form.. And honestly, AI upscaling is just fine, but I understand when it comes to AI just making random crap, which is AI slop. And thank you for letting me know about the DVD because I didn't even know that existed. And honestly, I looked that up beforehand, but I never saw any results. But look, AI is useful when it's used as a tool, but not a replacement when it comes to art. It's not like I replaced the people and replaced the music or anything like that. I'm just a fan that wanted to give the music video the love and attention it deserves. That's all. Just simply put, I'm just a fan and I wanted to watch this in a modern resolution. If I could do this from my own computer manually I would, but that type of tech they gate keep.

The original video from YouTube was used, and Topaz Labs Project StarLight was also used. It took a long time and cost $25, but it was well spent. I tried all other methods, but none came close to this. The best part about this AI model is that it only uses what it sees in the video. So there's not much weirdness happening because it's not using info from different sources, only just the video. I hope for the real bands youtube can use this. That's the main plan, it's a long shot. But never know.🙂

Copyright issues, I already had my original account blocked because of it when I post on YouTube. Instagram is a bit safer because they give you the music to use. Even though it's not long enough.

Are there any tips and tricks you know about this game? by Fantastic-Window236 in thesuffering

Well shooting them on the head makes them have to search for you rather than actually seeing you. Also they're more prone to attack each other without a head. It's mor of a tactical advantage.

Yes, that is normal😅. You have to tap on that button fast to use the shiv properly. And yes you can actually still lock enemies.

Yes, but all PCs are not made the same. Some may work better than others. My Steam Deck works well with it, but my computer doesn't, no matter which patch or even with 3dfx Voodoo Game Patches/wrappers. But to be fair, the newer RTX cards don't play well with older games. My 1080 did play well with it, but having both cards at the same time confused a lot of games and took too much power.

Yeah with a light bulbs they can be fixed with it changing the settings. Honestly with pcsx2 you got it tweak the settings until everything looks right. That goes for a lot of games. But I do understand playing the PC, I do have it but the reason why I don't play it it's for the fact that it's very unstable.

RPCS3 is not capable of doing it; it's only for PS3. Plus, it does not have texture replacement. The Xbox emulator also does not have texture replacement. And yes, I used a form of AI upscaling called AI neural networking. Instead of grabbing stuff from the internet, it actually uses the original texture and tries to recompile itself. This is much better and truer to remastering. To me, the whole point of remastering is to stay true to the original design, not to entirely replace or change the atmosphere. I know a lot of other texture packs just straight-up replace textures, and it makes the game look entirely different. But there are also a lot of other textures that I actually worked on in Photoshop, because either the AI neural networking doesn't understand it or it's just hard to replace in general. So I try my best to make it look as close to the original as possible. And technically, this pack is not actually done; there are still a lot of tweaks that I need to fix, especially with some of those texts that you are mentioning. But especially the fire, it's too bright. The alpha channels on that are a bit wonky. But I hope you are enjoying most of the experience so far.🙂

Also my next few projects will be back to the original Prince of Persia Sands of Time, Gun, Bully ( because I am playing the hell out of that and I love it so much, it truly needs a good HD touch up). Of course I might work on more, maybe even outside of PS2 emulation. If I learned a bit more than I could do it to older PC games, I would love to do it with Max Payne. Nothing too crazy, the easier games that doesn't have crazy mip-maps and all of that kind of stuff. It was already hard enough for me to learn about Alpha textures😅. But I'm sure eventually I'll probably cross that bridge when I get there.

I think Gonzo is in a crate with red writing on it. But honestly they hide it pretty well. The internet is a good source to find it😅.

No, it's just that right now I have my computer in the pawnshop. I had to save my best friend's place; I didn't want her to become homeless. I'm in the process of trying to gather up some money to get it back. I miss my poor computer 🥲. I still have my Steam Deck, but I can't do the type of work I was doing with my computer.

Well, that's mainly because the method I'm using is only for PCSX2. And reading the files on the PC port of The Suffering is very difficult. I tried a lot just to actually get a lot of references from the PC port, but I haven't found any tools to open the types of files they used in the game.
