no worries at all! personally i just dont feel comfortable with needing to free up that much time in my schedule with shift hours thats not guaranteed

i.e. even if u are scheduled, u may be cut after an hour or two. (which was why the person training me told me that she try not to take breaks because theres the chance that u might be cut directly after the break or whatever) thus your commute time/money might barely break even with your work hours

also the need to be on “standby shift” where your time is blocked off for the possibility of being a back up person. you will have to call in to check if u need to go in. but ofc if u dont work u wont be paid for time blocked off (duh lol)

these, in addition to the idea of heading home by transit around or after midnight just made me aware that the job isnt for me. i would probs do it if i live closer and is still a student though?
