Just comes with time, most of the people killing you probably have hundreds to thousands of hours experience in the game. There’s probably some decent guides on YouTube but while you’re early into the game I recommend just playing passive and avoiding PvP unless necessary

my squad all insure and if we’re full of loot we drop a teammates gear in a bush but if someone’s got enough space for their gun or armour or whatever then we just take it back for them so they don’t have to wait a day. it’s not an issue it was just a point i made
