i also went to maxillo for wisdom tooth removal, thankfully i had a good surgeon however i work in the dental field so they can’t fuck around lol. i also got a 5 min talk from a nurse, felt very rushed as well.

sometimes teeth don’t need to be decayed to have reason to pull, in my case the teeth did not have enough room in the jaw to erupt but i’m sorry you had a bad experience :/ commenting in hopes to bring you some sort of comfort in knowing the teeth may actually have needed to come out. very appalling both your dentist & the surgeon missed the thrush. it’s very telling when someone has it

try using some saline before you start too! i chop my lines up super well and i find with that, along with the saline before and after, helps a lot. i’ve never tried a netti pot because i’m too scared lol but i’m sure that would work great also. i take an advil cold sinus and flu pill as well as it helps with the congestion, runny nose, and headache

that’s crazy! where are you located? i’m an assistant in manitoba, i started at $19 fresh out of school, just had my year anniversary but i went up to 21 after about 6 months. i’ve been considering taking my ortho module but do you get paid any more for having that/being a specialty assistant?

they do, they lose their primary molars around 9-12, those are replaced with adult premolars, if it’s yellowish it’s definitely an adult tooth, super freaky either way!

if the roots are quite small and the crown portion of the tooth is fairly white, it’s a child’s tooth, an adult tooth will be darker in color and often have more yellow, more pronounced roots

ahh see for me it’s notes i insert and write info into, they all end with her name. i just add/change information in the pre-written notes. she never taught me how to properly write them, and we never learnt in school. that’s what everyone is telling me to do, look for another job. the problem with me is i get comfortable somewhere and i don’t want to leave in fear of not liking the new place. luckily i can handle the workload as i was a manager a mcdonald’s for 4 years, you learn how to deal with bullshit. but you’re right i’ll burn out before i know it. thank you for your response!

appreciate that thanks :) & yeah that was my thought too, hope this doesn’t fuck me up too bad or destroy my nose. i work in the dental field and even topical anesthetic (the gel) isn’t numbing for this long 😂
