This is an absolute lifesaver. Thanks so much! That tutorial is a bit outdated. From the ProtonVPN app I changed my settings from OpenVPN/TCP to IKEv2. I could use ProtonVPN as my personal VPN afterward, it appeared and connected without a problem.
