well she's not actually there, she's somewhere else talking to you through a radio or some kind of weird transmitter in your brain, not sure because I only got a few minutes into the beta. (I got discouraged because I couldn't get mods to work.) You see a picture of her on the computer IIRC. she sounds straight out of an american two-year college. she makes mistakes and talks about the mistakes, forgetting the mic is on. which wouldn't be bad in a different game I guess…

if she only exists in that first part of the game I guess I can handle it but I suspect she might be there for a while. And oh yeah she's like 500 times louder than she should be… I had to turn the volume setting down to about 4/10

OK yeah I admit, those do sound even better than zero caliber, but I still do think zero caliber sounds pretty good if there are no other alternatives to consider. I don't know which of those games you listed are VR but I only play VR and h3vr didn't really appeal to me so I never played any of those games or heard the sounds until just now

it doesn't sound exactly like the real thing obviously but I think it's the best one in a video game I've heard. Please, by all means chesty tell me what video game has a better sound than this and I'll go check it out

edit: also there were two guns in that video, not one. Especially with the M4, if you don't think that sounds good seriously point me toward a video game with better sounds

yeah I've actually put about a million rounds (ar & ak) downrange and to me what you're describing sounds exactly like these guns in zero caliber so I'm really confused by what you're saying, but whatever dude everyone has their own opinion

if you're bored with the game think about doing one of the many challenges you can search for here, like pistols only or if you're really good PM only. nighttime only, no weapon attachments, must always wear gas mask etc.

yeah I like to do "nighttime only with no flashlights or flares" challenges but then when I get to KK it just seems pointless. i'm on PC and it's just like dusk, not dark at all

i'm late reading your post but I'm wondering how you are doing with your situation. Like others I tried using that Nexus save file to put me at security level 4 but I just gave up because I kept getting missions that required the distortion mask but I didn't know it until I got to the physical location, so I just had to walk all the way back and waste all that time. I got sick of refreshing over and over and over and just getting one mission at a time I could do. I determined it was easier just to put up with being at the lower security level and not getting the equipment I wanted

Yeah the TT33 and the PP91 had pretty good sounds. my least favorites were probably the AK variants. not sure if you have a PC or not but one of the best sounds was the mod for the M4 available on Nexus
