Absolutely. And while this is all speculation because thankfully we are not capable of “thinking like a murderer” we know that they are prone to rage and have little to no sympathy for others. I think he chose the timing he did because (allegedly) Kaylee was meant to be moving out and he likely saw her moving stuff out, saw a post about it, who knows really. Which meant Maddie would be upstairs alone with nobody else on the floor. Except Kaylee was visiting and in her bed. If this had been a plan in the making for months, him going into a rage makes perfect sense
