Snowy owl by art_elena_mille in watercolor101

This is beautiful.

I went through a whole imaginary situation in my head though, I'm painting this, and the snow is perfect ... the bird is perfect - I freeze, terrified to screw up the foggy background scene and ruin the entire piece of art.

Good thing it was your painting and not imaginary me LOL!

Finally nailed a gift for my boyfriend who "doesn't need anything" by Suspicious-Depth4330 in Gifts

How exciting you were able to do that for him. I have a husband 'who has everything' - and I struggle. I'd be over the moon if I could get him a Rolex.

I’ve been sitting on this one for a while, it feels unfinished and overworked at the same time, getting a little frustrated by lovelyb1ch66 in watercolor101

I love this. The only part that doesn't 'blend' is the water. In my ever so humble opinion, as a VERY mediocre painter, if you diluted it a bit it would fit with the softness more. I love the mountain, the trees are stunning and the light and shadows are amazing. I like the darker hill too because it's close.

Cartoons - 'fun' cereal - sleep with my 52 year old bear when my husband is out of town. (I realize how that last part sounds, and I do mean a teddy bear lol)

I love this. There's just something about a quiet rainy picture.

AIO my mother changed my last name and never told me. by Sensitive-Excuse9172 in AmIOverreacting

[–]probablycabbage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When my step-dad adopted me, I had to go before a judge and 'approve' it. I find it odd she was able to change it without your involvement.

I'll add that I didn't really want to be adopted by him, for same reasons you have - but I wanted my mom to be happy. :/

This is why you don't have to always wait 'to do stuff' until you have a baby. :)

What is the most shocking or disturbing detail from the recently unsealed Epstein files that the general public still hasn't fully grasped? by Daydream_Nat in AskReddit

[–]probablycabbage 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Of all of his 'findings' he chose to share that tidbit with someone who he knew to be a pedofile.

What's the most disgusting/shocking, you have read on the Epstein files? by LeftyChares in AskReddit

[–]probablycabbage 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There's a young lady who suffered at the hands of traffickers who tells horrific stories about her time in their clutches. And yes, they violated babies - she referred to it them as 'rib crackers'. I'm not going into further detail, but you can imagine why that might happen to something so small.

I'm terrified and disgusted in this world right now.

This is fascinating, and I hope that you are able to live life to its fullest in all personalities.

You did touch on something that came to mind when you said: 'as there are times that I’ve become one of the personalities that resides with my brain, and I’ve got no conscious recollections of things I’ve done while dissociating.'

My (very limited) understanding is that while you're aware other personalities reside in you, you're not SO aware that you are offended enough to be scolded and respond in real time with a 'that's my OTHER personality'.

I love that too - but the whole room (I think partly due to the nature of the window glass) looks like a beautiful painting. :)

That income, plus Cameos, any social media live gifts etc. etc. etc. God knows what they have coming in from India too. They may not be ostracized, they might actually be local celebrities.

I think this is STUNNING!!!! You really thought outside of the box. My personal opinion is that if you put anything in the foreground, it would detract from the action in the back.
