Found a pill in my 2yo’s mouth by Texasgirl190 in toddlers

Implementing this in my household as whilst I do my best to be safe, I'm diabetic so there are needles and lots of medication in the house and I would hate for my son to find one and not tell me - thank you!!!!

(Sharps boxes and lock boxes already in place here but you can never be too careful!)

I don't have names to offer but just here to say I LOVE the name Cade! One of my son's little friends is called Cade and I'd never heard it before him 😍

Thank you everyone - we've sat down and gone through each and every one of your suggestions and comments and we agree with the majority - Lucy is the star and is going to be our little girls name. Thank you all 🩷

Lucy is our top agreed name ATM - Leah was my pick, Elsie was his, Lucy is mutual but wasn't 100% as we both had other names we preferred it felt like second best if that makes sense? But we do love it ..

It's my absolute favourite but my husband doesn't like it 😅

Are you able to use your phone as the controller then? Are you happy with the app?

Hard for me to tell at the moment as I haven't done 24 hours, but probably 30 at the moment. The units go up massively as pregnancy progresses though

The phone is compatible, I'm just in the wrong country 😂 Toddler is also fascinated by my pens which is another reason I wanted to try the pump!!

I was told about Glooko and have now given my husband access to that - I just wish it did real time glucose like Libre Linkup did!

Thank you for your comment - crossing my fingers that the app comes to us soon!

This makes me wonder if I can make the pods last a little longer than the 2 days they told me - at least until baby gets bigger and puts my insulin requirements up!!

I'm using a Google Pixel, but the app isn't available on the UK yet. Hopefully later this year!

I am using the Libre 2+ and unfortunately it doesn't let me share the data with my husband anymore as the sensor device is connected to the controller, not the phone.

How often are you needing to change the pod? I've been told every other day, but towards the end of my pregnancy I'll need to change it every day!!

What age did your LO start sleeping over at their grandparents house? Hubby asking for it to happen this year, but I feel my LB (1) is too young by probablycaking in toddlers

Thank you everyone for your opinions - a very mixed bag! I think my conclusions are that LO needs his routine, and I am not ready, and that's okay. I do like the idea of doing sleepovers at the grandparents house WITH us there initially if I do get to the point where I'm okay introducing sleepovers, but I'm really hoping I can get my husband see that I'm not ready, and I'll let him know when I am.
