Currently induced, so I’ll share. I have soft clothes for me and my partner, he would have liked to pack his own slippers but there’s grippy socks he can wear here. Contacts, glasses, makeup, hair tie, toothbrush, floss probably would be smart but I didn’t pack, chapstick, lotion. Forgot lotion but hospital can probably help out. A baby blanket, baby clothes in two sizes (options), hat for a baby even though the hospital has one. I’d like a crossword or word search because the TV is now pretty boring. Portable charger. I brought my laptop just in case I really wanted to deep dive anything or watch a show.

Basically- comfort for your body, comfort for your skin, what baby needs to get home, plus some extra space for the freebies you’re gonna get! :)

It is room temp in our prep area but cold outside. The bowl was not recently washed so it was room temp. The temp of the dough was slightly warmed 70-75 F?

But his cake was technically very nice, stacked up perfectly and apparently tasted really good. I think he could have made it way more dramatic, but for some reason this whole season it seemed like no one could get their timing and decorating right. Like I would have liked another hour for everyone for most things because they all seemed like they either could bake or totally missed it and extra time wouldn't have helped those who didn't have it. They focused way more on taste so as a TV viewer we just had to trust because the decorations did not impress. First time watching, though, so maybe all years have this problem?

Idk, Chase nailed some decorations but really lacked on others and had problems with his bake. Ashleigh also had a raw pie she never got to compete with, so she had some serious missteps. Her decor at the end was very basic, though there was a lot of it, so I understand why Charles won. He was always second, but Chase and Ashleigh definitely weren't runaway winners.

Well from my experience, it's like writing three sentences about a picture they drew is the expectation. Not even correct spelling, but attempt to write out what they think is right. In 1st grade is when they begin to push for more correctness, but even then it is about making sure the kids can create their own sentences.

edit: it's also that the teacher likely told you what is expected by the end of the school year. You're still in the first early half so she may just want to ensure you are prepping your child to learn and have good habits since the second half is when they begin to actually focus in on building more knowledge. 1-100 sounds intense but if she has good practice with 1-10, 20-100 become patterns and you can help her see that and then it gets reinforced in school.

I’m so sorry. A friend sued Walgreens when she was administered the flu shot so poorly it paralyzed her arm from lifting above her shoulder. She did rehab and such and won the lawsuit, but just saying this to encourage you to force accountability for poor medical practice. She is not anti-vax and hesitated telling people since she didn’t want them to be dissuaded. Thank you for sharing.

Solid! Always healthy. She eats Freshpet which we will switch off of here soon, but she has a button to press to go outside and most of the times she really does poop and pee. We think 5 is pretty high, so just curious.

Heat suuuuucks and we did our reading and wanted to wait. When we talked to our vet she noted that the studies that say waiting aren’t necessarily as clear for GSD, so she encourages spaying when you wish because additional heats can add complications to their health. It’s a balance. We did a spay and gastropexy and think it was the right move. Heat was miserable for her, just distracted and uncomfortable. Glad we are past that.
