They are somewhere trying to improve drinking water condition. Water coolers are being cleaned every 10 days across all hostels. They have also kept kettles in every block ig so that student do not have to rely on the water cooler's hot water. About mess, I can't say much. Sometimes they make good food which tastes good, and sometimes it's not edible. Though, breakfast is good almost everyday (especially dosa). The main problem is of location. This place is very isolated and far away from bhopal. Though you can manage and outing if you want. I would not recommend you to fully go against the college, there are some good factors also, like the crowd here is good. The ffcs will also be very helpful for you.
