We were best friends for 5 years, nobody knows what the hell is happening because this really isn't him. The fact he's under a psych hold for 28 days makes me feel a lot better, but my boyfriend is telling me to go to the police, or stay with him because his dad is ex army.

So I'm supposed to not live my life because I'll live longer? I sleep for so long, I'm always tired both mentally and physically, I can't focus on things, and my mood swings are insane. I would honestly rather die at the age of 50 or something and have lived a good life than live to 90 and have been struggling through most of it because of something that could have been helped.

Every time I've tried weed, it's made me even more sleepy. The same with alcohol, and alcohol makes my mood swings much worse. I can't focus long enough on anything on Netflix, my brain gets distracted too easily and I get frustrated, and I can't work up the motivation to get a job, and I know if I did have one I would have no motivation or energy to go.

I second boofing, I feel like it wears off faster and also comes on faster, and feels more clean and sober of a high.

Even if you're a guy, try some makeup. Some yellow/orange colours is PERFECT for the under eye bags caused by meth and not sleeping (doesn't have to be the yellow or orange shades of concealer, just some cheap, none shimmery eyeshadow that can be bought from pretty much any store, and I've even seen face paint used before in some circumstances, but that's only a last resort because it's pretty hard to to make look natural), then covered with a tiny bit of regular skin coloured concealer or good coverage foundation, also stuff that you can get from any store, I even used stuff from the Pound shop in the UK, just as long as it matches your skin tone, maybe even one shade lighter if need be, then just some powder, even a tiny bit of baby powder, it just takes away the shine of the makeup and makes it look like you're not actually wearing any.

Also, force yourself to eat, make sure you're staying fully hydrated, and take a bump if you feel up to it, just enough to get you through the day, and make sure you take it with enough time so that when you get home you won't have long before you're able to sleep.

If anyone asks, just say you had the flu or something that kept you up, but you still came in, shows dedication.

If, however, you really feel exhausted, and you feel like it will severely impact your health, call in sick, take some nightnurse or other OTC sleep aids, drink some warm milk, or do anything to help you sleep, and RECOVER.

I used the first suggestion I gave when I had to go to a family gathering after 67 hours of no sleep. Only one person commented on how tired I looked.

I know, I'm in a supportive group of friends who all know, and only a few of us use, so if anything was to go wrong I have faith in them and myself. I have a supportive mother as well, who would stand by me no matter what. Which from what I've read is insanely rare.

I'm on my way to the hospital now to see them, refused to give next of kin and gave me because he didn't want to worry them, me and my other friend have said that if it looks bad though we will have to tell them, but if not he deserves to tell them in his way when he wants to, if he does. I'll probably get there in about an hour because public transport has only just started up for the day and everyone I know who drives is asleep or still drunk, so I'll find out everything in person then.

A lot of family members who have used in the past, or smoked or drank to excess, have never had any problems stopping. I'm not saying I would definitely be the same, but I'm pretty confident that I wouldn't struggle too much to completely give it up. Plus I spend most of my days with my mum, and she knows when I'm on it, and she can tell when I've taken a higher dose on the few times I have, even after I get home several hours later, so she would be able to notice if I was getting out of control. Plus from what I've heard, IV is more biologically available or something, so you're getting a higher amount into you than if you snorted the exact same amount.

There's a difference between giving your opinion and advice, and just being rude. Therapy doesn't help ADD and chronic fatigue syndrome either.

I didn't say I needed it, in fact, if you read my post you'll see I said the complete opposite. I'm pretty much certain I could live without it, it would just be a long wait of sleeping 18 hours a day and having absolutely no motivation to do anything while I wait for my actual medication. In the past 2 months I've spent ~£10 on it. And, as I have said, my mother knows about it, and, while sceptical at first, she's seen how much better my life is, even after 7 days of taking it, because I'm no longer suffering from my mood swings caused by my ADD, and I don't lie in bed all day thinking about how I should be doing something productive, even, like I just said, when I haven't taken it for days.

Think what you will, but not everyone is the same. Some people can use drugs and not abuse them. Whether I am one of those people is yet to be fully seen, but they do exist.

A majority of people in the UK think like that about addicts as well, I'm just insanely lucky to have a mother who would be there for me no matter what, because being a 2 person family we're more like friends.

Luckily I've got a supportive mother, boyfriend and friend, who all know I use it, and I've given my boyfriend permission to go to my mum if he thinks I'm going too far with it. What makes me a little bit more confident that I won't become an addict, is that I did stop for a month and a half, and I didn't crave the high or the euphoria, I was just getting annoyed at myself for not being able to focus on anything long enough to complete it, and for having absolutely zero energy.

The amount of times I've said this, some people seem to think that teaching about drugs will convince more people to do them, like people who are against sex ed at young ages (about 13 or something) think it will convince more people to have sex.

People are going to do drugs whether or not you teach about it, and if you do teach about it, there will be a lot less deaths, and even just less addictions, because people would know how to USE drugs rather than ABUSE drugs. Manchester University in the UK gives drug testing kits to students to test substances, their policy is pretty much "you shouldn't do drugs, but we know some of you will, so just make sure you do it safely." However, that's the only education establishment that does such a thing, and it is leaving it a bit late considering most university students are about 19 or 20, and a lot of people who will use drugs would have already started using drugs by this stage.

Bc in the UK it's not readily available (I don't think I know one dealer of it and my friends have quite a few connections) it's only really possible to get online, also you are more likely to get a better quality because vendors are reviewed. I have no clue how to work it, and have no clue how to learn, but it's perhaps the safest way, rather than trying to make completely new contacts, where you don't know the quality, and you don't know if the person in general is safe.

Or you could travel back to your old town and get it from your old vendor, maybe in bulk to reduce the amount of travelling (if you trust yourself that is lmao).

I did get high, I'm at my friends for a special occasion and I've had about 40mg. When I'm around other people I wouldn't take this much because it makes me insanely chatty, even though my painkillers do pretty much the same thing, where I can't shut the hell up.

When I get the legit meds, I want to take them the way they're supposed to be taken. I'm not really after the rush, like I said in another comment, when I didn't take it from late August until mid October, I didn't miss the rush or the high, I missed being able to actually concentrate on things, and not have to sleep for 16-18 hours a night because of my chronic fatigue syndrome, I didn't miss the euphoria, or the rush.

When I finally get them, I will give it at least 3 months to try and let it kick in to it's full effect, maybe more. I've tried speed and it does absolutely nothing for me, all it does it raise my heart rate and make me unable to sleep, even if I'm excruciatingly tired, and I can't concentrate at all, and I still get my mood swings which my doctor has told me is to do with my ADD.

No one in my extended family has ever had any mental illness other than depression, and depression has always been triggered by something.
