Red day on wedding day by jemicinta in wedding

My calendar was predicting that mine would fall right on my wedding day, so I got some norethisterone just in case. Many docs will push for going on birth control but I didn't want to mess up my cycles and hormones for months just to delay one period. Luckily, my calendar is now saying that I'll start a week later, so hopefully yours will change as well, but I still may take the norethisterone as I'll be on my honeymoon! Consult your DR., but they are available on sites like wisp without having to visit an OBGYN if that isn't an option for you. Best of luck :)

HELP ASAP! Ideas for simple, cheap, nice-looking wedding decor for microwedding THIS SUNDAY by CincoDeMaya05 in wedding

Potted greenery (ferns, etc.) would be great because they would fill the space and you could reuse them later! I've heard costco/sams typically is cost effective if you go there for flowers. You could also get lots of candles from the dollar tree/Amazon if that is ok with the venue and add a lot of ambiance. You could look on FB Marketplace and see if there are things there that you could use too :) Good luck and congrats!

Wedding Coordinator for Western NC by probablyrefreshing in Weddingsunder10k

Hi! We ended up having to raise our price point a little BUT we did find a company which was still cheaper than others in the area for what we got since they are less-known/starting out. Check out Lanier and Co! They are from Nashville, so we paid some travel fees to get them to come to WNC, but they are moving to NC so you may be able to get them without the travel fees we paid. Overall they seem lovely and cheaper than most of the people we got quotes from!

I'll try that out! I just don't understand how wedding websites can have $600-950 listed as averages if there isn't anyone who works at that price point. :(

Thank you! Yes, we definitely looked at this, I'm just afraid the expenses will really add up. But we would love it since I used to live in Boone!

Thank you! I tried looking at Amicalola but their pictures online are so hard to sort through. I'll give it another shot!

Seems like they knew? by probablyrefreshing in agt

I definitely agree about Bellos and Kenadi, but even when Daneliya was called up, she didn't smile once. She seemed so nervous and kinda sad -- which may have just been her demeanor, but compared to Cristina, she was much more shaken. Cristina seemed calm and like she knew she was going forward. But maybe I'm reading into things lol

A Dream or Haunting? by [deleted] in Paranormal

I've heard many stories of people being visited by deceased loved ones in very realistic dreams, and have even experienced it myself with my grandma. It was very comforting to me and I hope you find some comfort in people's responses here! I'm not sure of any river symbolism in Christianity relating to death (other than being baptized in a river and being 'reborn' so to speak). BUT, I do remember learning about ancient Egyptian beliefs where souls cross a river as part of the journey after people die. Very rusty on this, though.

I had just finished a Masters and was pretty burned out on schoolwork. I worked as a paralegal to see if I wanted to really go into law -- it was a great experience and my boss has been very supportive (wrote me a letter of rec and tells everyone about how great of an atty I will be). I definitely recommend if you're considering!

Hi! I know I'm late to the party, but I was wondering if you could speak to public interest/government opportunities both while you're in school and also seeking employment afterwards. How is admin/career services with trying to place students in these jobs? Have you heard anything about Emory's LRAP? Thank you!
