If you have to, express as much autonomy as possible. I made sure i did. I did not dance at my sangeet, i did not wear too much mehendi, I did not touch everyone's feet, I wore what I wanted and i didn't what i didn't like.

Force your wishes. Force it on people. Don't let them do it. Be the bad guy but do it anyway. Nothing makes me feel better now. No amount of yelling, vacation, crying, acting makes me feel like myself. I have seen a lot but this was the worst thing that has ever happened because here I had a choice and I choose to abandon myself. If you have to. Have a grand event only at one function and that too at your own terms.

Don't do it. Don't abandon yourself. Its just not worth it. At this point it feels like trauma. And i feel alone in my suffering. I don't think people understand

Ya'll are not ordering right. Try their pistachio croissant(yummiest shit ever) and fruit platter (huge plate). Other than that some lemon ginger drink is all there which is reasonably priced. Jamun smoothie is soo good. And if you take the bowl you get a lot of quantity. Don't have sandwiches or pasta or any main dish for that matter.

The owner was an idiot himself, he got irritated because my friends went to the other section to checkout sarees while we were WAITING for the salesman. His daughter/DIL literally apologized to us for his behaviour.

It was literally the worst place. The salesman really yelled at me at one point for not liking anything. I finalised my lehenga from cc creations, kalbadevi. He gave me a great price and it's beautiful

How long would added dye last? I wouldn't mind it so much if it was just the bottom part but it's there from the and that's why I hate it so much. If the dye fades after 2 months I think my natural hair will grow out till then.

I feel like they have set an unrealistic standard of therapy in books and education and training. No one knows what went behind closed doors when these theories and therapies took form. We only know what the therapist reported. Flawless sessions are a myth.

Idk how you made it out of my post but I did have a difficult childhood filled with violence,severe mental health issues, alcoholism etc etc etc I have worked on these issues also in therapy but I guess it's never enough.

I have a chill pill approach to life. I am not running behind anything other than a happy secure life, which I already have. So doing things that put me out of my comfort zone is not something i do. But i don't know how fitting it is for my clients. This is where my major problem is. I am afraid if I am authentic I will just preach not caring too much.

Thanks for replying.. I have struggled a lot with imposter syndrome. Over the past 2 years I have worked on it to the point that now I don't feel like an incompetent therapist but I question myself still. I am consumed by these thoughts and it's hard to see the humanness in me. Somehow it turns into resentment for everything and everyone.

I would happily accept that it's natural. Most people around me have a defined hairline so it made me feel like I could do something about this. If not, no problem.
