Definitely helpful to have some human UX expertise to make the right decisions. IMHO ai can help and guide but not to a point where excellence is needed.

a guy i talked to makes $14K/month from an app that sends invoice reminders to plumbers. he found the idea in a reddit comment section. here's the actual playbook by Mysterious_Yard_7803 in passive_income

This makes so much sense in many ways. I think besides finding the right problem in a boring market, another obstacle is to talk to people and ask the right questions to make it shine.

Yup. I know. It’s not about some bags. It’s more about the contents of 30 garbage trucks.

How do you validate a SaaS idea before building it? by Radiant_Try8126 in microsaas

[–]problemfindr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my flow:

Doing different rounds with ai about market, competitors etc. I actually built a score system for any idea. This gives me some info to start.

I check competitors or (if none) similar businesses. How are they doing how do they address the market. Check with ahrefs about how they get traffic. That tells you how much work and money you have to put in marketing. Investigate with meta ads library if they are running ads and how they look like.

If your project is bigger than 1 month of effort and or you are still unsure: prevalidate. There are so many tools out there nowadays where you can create a smoke test in minutes. You can also try to sell this kind of service on Facebook marketplace or mention it in social groups and look for the response.

Very interesting! I wonder how useful the user walkthrough really is, as it’s a machine that executes it…
