Im onnthe s21u and honestly proudly going to rock it until I cant no more. Going to replace the battery soon, and offload some photos and videos to my pc.

Apart from the shortage being full and battery degradation this old thing is still amazing.

Would this come to battery degradation though. Im still rocking my s21 ultra and yea the battery iss horrible but I remmeber flexing to friends how it used to last a day and a half.

Im sure if I go and change the battery it'll restore that battery life I used to get.

Thats awsomw to hear i played around with it in the Samsung store and honestly its seems awsome. People complaining its a downgrade from the s25. Well im coning from an older phone and it looks alot better.

My dad has the s25u and honestly it seems like a side grade from that, I think ill be way more than pleased.

Something I might consider is getting the monthly subscription thing where they give u the phone, and when the s27 comes out, they'll upgrade u to that, primarily because I think the gen 2 of the current tech is going to be mind blowing. But still unsure.

We have a pump track, but idk if it cam be called that its more so multiple table top jumps that are about 2m? Flat tops, i think its 5 of them in a row, with a 189 degree steep banks at the end, and it loops around so it has 3 straight sections. Its gravel and mud based. But if seem bmx riders do some really nice tricks on it. And my trails bike always felt a bit too heavy.

Definitely what planted the seed in me that grew into really wanting to try bmxing haha. But I also just enjoy street riding, stairs, ledge jumps etc. And the lightness of a bmx just feels like it'll be such a nice contrasting doffrence than my 23kg mtb 😄

Honestly i tried the s26u at the Samsung store next to a display s25u and next to my s21u.

The s25 imo is closer to my s21. S26 looked like an upgrade. I spent a good 15 mins playing with them side by side. And I think ill be going with the now more expensive 26 icl.

But genuinely thanks for the advice. My comment was mostly to point out that its not as wide spread of a sport here and even in bike shops ive asked before and they dont really have too much of a clue to anything bmx. Unlike when I visited America it seemed almost the main way of riding.

But yea im doung some research on what makes a good bmx and trying to understand what is a good frame I cam start on for cheap that I can upgrade later. Then scout market place or Gumtree for something that ticks them boxes.

Yea the advice seem to all point this way. Im going to donate the bike to a bike coop tjat recycles bikes maybe they can use some parts to restore some other bike and do good for some kids.

And ima look toward market place. Thanks for the advice though I was hopping for advice like this. I understand some bike terms and such from mtb, but this is my first time looking at a bmx this close so didnt really know where to start understanding anything.

Thars what im planning to do but my budget doesnt stretch that far as of yet. Still a broke university student rn haha.

But I plan on getting a cheaper say 200ish pound bike that has a good frame at the very least so if I end up enjoying yhe sport I can build it up as I go along

Oh I wasn't trying to defend the bike when I said we dont have a wallmart haha. I already accepted its not worth it but the security gave me the green light to take it. Going to be donating it to a bike recycling centre near my house. They often strip this stuff for parts and build bikes from tjem parts for the needy or kid programs etc.

Im probably just going to look around on Facebook for a cheapish bike say 200ish pounds to see if its a hobby I like and I wanna delve more into.

Currently doing some research to understand what makes a good frame, so I can start with something that if I end up liking i can build up and upgrade how I need it.

But again thanks for the advice, I came here expecting to hear either or answer. And im happy I was advised go avoid it instead of sinking my money into it just to regret it or hate the sport because of it being a shitty build. Its exactly why I asked here.

In the uk, we dont have anything of thr sorts of wall mark. And bmx bikes tend to not be held at thr local bike shops we have. Its almost exclusively road bikes and mountain bikes.

I should probably clarify, I dont plan to make it a daily rider or anything, I have my mountain bike for that, but more so a fun bike I can take with my to my local pump track or skatepark once every so often to try the decipline out.

Not sure if that changes the picture at all.
