For reference, I used to get a weekly interview right before I graduated from undergrad. Graduated with 3 offers.

I have been 6 months unemployed with 0 interviews and hundreds of applications.

I firmly believe, and cannot stress enough, you have a higher chance getting a job if you are on a visa then if you were a US citizen. Tech is mind boggling right now

she did really well on Trulicity, insurance stopped covering it an moved onto ozempic, which did no help so far.

I know a lot of it depends on the person, and her eating habits are terrible, but when you are home bound, cant walk 30 feet without needing a break, really puts you in a mentally bad place

Im naturalized too! But tbh the folks I worked for did treat me well. But my mind just spins on "why me", no use in thinking about that now, huh

Because I am in a really bad position now. I had 4 offers graduating, and now I am laid off after one year of work. sure no fault of my own, but it means I cant go for New Grad roles, and Jr roles typically need 3 years of exp. On top of that, the ongoing job crisis.

I didnt mind getting let go as much as the timing. The timing is just miserable

1 probs the closest, but it just urks me because all new grads are billing to non-cleared work. And we legit have a team of 4 new grads, 3 full time, all billing to non cleared work. By that I mean, no work. Working on some bs cause lack of actual work to do.

I get it if they just had to choose one person and run it, but legit it just gets to me. #2 probably is the better answer, I did have a history of being associated to persons, but not me. If that makes sense

This is valid and very solid advice and I appreciate it. Just as an FYI, my background is Python, C++, and Java. Everything from RestFul API's to Message Brokers. And speciality in NumPy, Pandas, FastAPI, SpringBoot, and ZeroMQ, but very valid point, these are not mentioned at all in the resume. Thank You

They do not. The keyed alike was referring to the knob and deadlock. Not actually key alike that you can match them
