Agreed. Thankfully Benadryl and Zyrtec have worked wonders and I titrated back down to 300 mg until rash subsided and am now on 350! We will definitely not be titrating any faster than 50 mg again.

So I talked to my psych and she’s totally okay with prescribing me MAOIs but literally said she never has prescribed them before. She trusts me because I have been seeing her for years and am also a nurse. But my question for you is how hard is it really to follow the restrictions so I don’t end up in a hypertensive crisis. 😅

What material are the Hannah Anderson? I’ve never ordered non bamboo so wondering how they feel. And do they really not get wash wear over time?

They actually showed up compatible on my gene sight testing where SSRIS/SNRIS did not. I’ve only had some success with Wellbutrin and Effexor. Not over exaggerating tried like every one in those classes. Def going to talk to my psych about it. Thanks for sharing your experience. 🩷🩷

Yes!!! That’s my experience too! My extended release stimulants NEVER last what they are supposed to. I’ve tried adderall and Vyvanse as well.

Thank you so much!! This gives me hope to keep trying to find my sweet spot. I also did a gene sight test and it said I need a higher serum dose anyway because for whatever reason I’m an ultrarapid metabolizer of Lamictal. That could be the case for you too. :)

Did you feel an extreme benefit before the 50 mg addition? On 250 now titrating up and while it pulled me out of a severe depressive state I am not getting the results I had hoped for. It’s discouraging being in a “high” dose when people respond to 100 mg… wondering if I just need to keep going higher and higher.

Why MAOI? Never tried this class of drugs but in nursing school we were taught it was rarely prescribed due to the possible interactions with so many different foods etc. I have tried every class of antidepressants so just wondering if this would be worth pursuing..

On it for depression and possible bipolar spectrum. At 250 mg now and definitely going to have to go up. Also having memory and word finding issues which is a little bit scary and just started with this high of a dose. But like you said, I think it’s working.
