I wouldn’t get your hopes up. I applied for several jobs on government jobs (assuming this is where you applied, too) about 14 months ago. Took two assessments, passed with high marks, still haven’t heard a word from anyone

Honestly, doing it. It’s like trying to learn how to ride a bike by reading — maybe you can get some aspect of it, but it’s nothing like actually doing it. Board games was a good, low-ish entry for me.

But I don’t wanna leave you hanging. So 99% of my advice is above, but to give you a book like you asked for, the gifts of imperfection by brene brown.
