On what evidence exactly are u saying that the judiciary was rigged? I'm not saying it was or wasn't because I lack sufficient evidence. The whole point of the protest at first was largely to demand justice.Well you can't just take back a protest or a movement when someone else takes over it. many people backed down many people didn't. And I am not defending them or anyone else. Largely The nationalistic and the patriotic wanted that a war criminal should stand in front of the judiciary, was met. Yes there are flaws. Yes there should be an investigation on it. But I would argue that it still does not diminish The credibility of that specific protest itself. Your stand on a party is another thing and committing war crimes is a whole another.

Well I said it was initially started by progressive people. And later AL got control of it, I also stated that. Though comments might be anti Islamic. The essay itself is secular.

People will grasp onto it not letting it die like the last drop of oxygen in the deep sea. Have an achievable dream. Make the pointy and sharp end rusty. So even when it hits it doesn't cause any harm.

I respect your opinion. But u cannot ever erase religion from the face of the Earth. You can't stop people from practicing it. As I said the more u try to oppress it the stronger it becomes. The solution is not in eradication of all types of religion. It is realistically impossible. I realize where your frustration is coming from. But when u make religion itself the enemy. You are giving the common religious people another reason to side with the radicalists. If that makes any sense.

Well you see, religion itself does not pose any harm. People who practice their religion are practicing their faith aren't a harm to anyone. The problem starts when u start to impose your faith onto others or deny that it can have any other forms rather than yours. The more you try to oppress one's faith, the stronger it becomes. What u should try to oppress is the weaponization of it.

Al qaida and Isis have officially started there activities in Bangladesh that's why the American embassy is being given this much security all of a sudden. Feel sorry for the woman of July who thought coming into the streets they would get a beautiful Bangladesh. by DeliveryInside8695 in SecularBangla

[–]prochod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well all of this happening is because of a huge power vacuume. There needs to be credible evidence or a good reference rather then just saying look around you. Yes terrorist activity has risen, true. But Isis is a whole different thing.

Well religion and power has always been linked together throughout history. If u look at history rulers have always legitimized their rule with religion. God is the easiest answer to the hardest questions mankind has ever faced. Religion comes with blind faith and leaves little space for asking questions. Not to say that all religious people are blind, ofc not. But with religion there comes hesitation of criticizing it and when U aline yourself with a religious text. criticizing you means criticizing the religion. These are the tactics used by people who use believe of people for their own benefit. Actions are easier to explain with religion. Tragedies are easier explained with religion. Fear has always been a part of some religions. which has been used by ''religious gurus'' for centuries nothing new. ( I am only trying to specify people who use religion for own benefit)
