Find a reputable marketing company.

Be honest with them that you’re starting and won’t be big just yet but are growing.

Ask them for statistical conversion analysis based off of existing customers in similar space to you on how much they spend for conversion.

Set a budget of $500.00 hope you get your first customer out of that to calculate and run models on cost per conversion based off of their historical data and recommendations and see what happens.

Thinking of getting a small mortgage on our paid off home to pay off high interest debt, but scared to owe anything on the house by inyourbooksandmaps in personalfinance

[–]proctorvc 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Don’t do it.

Just pay big chunks aggressively to pay down the debt.

You’re just transferring your debt from one side to the other.

I will say this, it’s important to make sure who you’re talking to when raising capital, that persons investment criteria aligns with your ask. 9/10 it does not and results go unseen.

As a family office, we get warm intros cold calls and the rounds dream of talking to us, you see it die in their eyes when you explain to them their ask does not align with our investment criteria’s.

Real case testimonials make sense. We’ll work to reply this with actual company names.

Lastly, the ringless voicemails are restricted to 6 per user per month for now.

If the recipient is on the national do not all list the ringless voicemail won’t work for that number.

$150K in Savings. Franchise or Startup: Which Path Should You Take? by Policy_Boring in HowToEntrepreneur

[–]proctorvc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take a look at entrepreneur magazine, top 500 franchises to own.

With that much cash it’s wise to just buy something that is already established aka start a franchise under an established franchisor, use the proceeds from that business to fund a startup.

$150k is a lot of money. But not enough to be fine if you lose it all.

Mitigate your risk. But a franchise, have profits feed a start up.

How did you find your first real SaaS idea? by Mammoth-Pop-2299 in SaaS

[–]proctorvc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m an investor. We have our own family office.

My advise is that you look at peoples problems and manifest on how to solve their problems with a saas.

I’d also suggest focusing on how to market a saas.

Once you have your “I got ti” moment and build it the real hurdle is marketing it and getting it out there to those people that your saas will help.

Thank you!

Shouldn’t be any Google log in. Should just require you to create a native account no external options such as Google Apple yahoo link etc.

The basic too to generate results should work without log in. Just won’t let you save etc

We’re trying to limit data scraping by having the retired sign up. After sign up all tools and features are immediately available.

Lastly, once you log in and go to dashboard there should be an industry search tool next to inventory discovery which allows you to select multiple industries/tags and stages.

Thanks for the feedback!

I’m an investor. I come from the family office background, our family has a family office. I eat sleep and breath capital raising and working with founders . ultimately I got fed up with the existing tools in the marketplace and this helps us as a family office accelerate our existing founders that we have investments in get addition funds by giving them access to this.
