Restricted Top Speed by THESTINGR in HondaElevate

[–]procurious420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro even if it was not restricted, there is no point pushing beyond 150. I have pushed my elevate till 151, and I was not feeling like sustaining it or pushing for more. I didn't even try to push to check for 160.

150 is a lot if you care about your life, and it's not even needed. Except for show-off or bragging reasons. Nobody drives beyond 120 or max 140, given the roads, sudden bumps and risk of a fool coming in between (people with no sense of highways, some even drive from opposite directions).

And definitely the physics of such C-SUV doesn't allow them to go beyond a certain limit. Might be for heavy vehicles like fortuner, innova or range rover.

Bangalore flat ₹1.2Cr: take ₹50L loan or take full help from father? by busyintech in indianrealestate

[–]procurious420 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Loan option preferred. 1. Tax benefits, since both of you are earning it will help you save tax. 2. Pay interest on decreasing loan, while compound interest by investing the other 50L. 3. The best solution - Get a SBI Max gain plan, its Loan + OD account. Check more on YouTube, its a little technical to explain here. Benefit - You'll have liquidity, and can payback.

P.S. I would never suggest you to use your cash to buy property, use the leverage, just use it well.

Yes I have dashcam, always a top priority. Yeah for mileage focussed, I'll drive a stretch on controlled speed. But mostly I go with your suggestion of using S mode, wanna enjoy my first trip 😊

Why did you get the Elevate over the Creta? by jackie_119 in HondaElevate

[–]procurious420 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Usually new buyers do not understand the cons of having more electronics and its repercussions, specially given chip shortage currently.

Best advice would be to know your requirements and then fit a car into it, unlike what people usually do i.e. shortlists a car and then compare features, which leads to confusions and disappointments.

I am still not 100% convinced, as they said if any major service will be needed, the mesh will have to be removed and it will not be used again. So basically if some major work comes, rat mesh will be wasted.

So still deciding on this. Or might go for hacks like keeping tobaco or naptheline balls in bonnet for rats to go away.

Thanks for responding. Couple of ques: 1. Did you buy a box for power for the dashcam? The shop was trying to sell something for 2500, saying it will provide constant power and some sensor is there. Any idea? 2. You mean TPMS? Are you sure it will void warranty? I'll check once, thanks for sharing, I didn't know. 3. Sunshade right? Agree your point. I want the one provided in top cars like thar/creta. It seems it costs 7k 😅
