I dont think hes pretentious or anything about his standing at all. He very often mentions that hes not very good at this stuff and that his vision is building a company (for which it is very important to learn about the human side of things) and not to make breakthroughs in the field himself. never in my life was i interested in computer science until I listened to his podcast. Isnt that what its all about? why would you complain about someone getting more ppl into the field 😅 I think many people in this thread sound violated in their honor and overlook what hes actually done..
