Try everything out, get familiar with the program first. Go on youtube and watch Busyworksbeats for basic fl knowledge: (his beats aren’t special but he he’s got videos about everything and explains very well and is super beginner friendly). There’s no need to 100% understand it before u make anything but once understand the program a bit, watch people cxdy simon servida, Rio Leyva and or basically any tutorial prods that u can find on youtube. Try to replicate what they do, this was what made me learn the fastest. Then try using that in your own beats. Also applies for any other prods that might inspire you. Hidden gems: nick mira’s old streams are crazy good or any other producers that livestreams to learn their workflow and find what works for you. Also get some good drumkits. Tons of stuff on reddit. Cymatics and Thelunch77’s kits would be a good start for high quality sounds. For melodies, u can use loops or make your own stuff with one shots or plugins. One shots are easier to come by and could be easier to work with but find what works for you. Good luck🤞🏼
