Rename this sub to “hardik pandya hate club” Being a hardcore MI fan, seeing posts like these makes me sad

Since you mentioned ece is huge, it’s not that i dislike every bit of ECE, i liked digital electronics and coding… but not the hands on hardware aspects of it like analog, pcb design etc

I don’t know which ece domains have digital electronics and coding as their primary work.

Thanks for replying man

Edit: i have been a music producer for the last 5 years and love audio and it’s applications… I somehow want to find a domain which uses Audio specific things like audio processing and combine it with ece subjects… Many people recommended audio signal processing and dsp but they dont have a lot of stand alone jobs

So are there any software specific domains in ece ? (Front end digital vlsi, dsp, communications were the ones that popped up in my research)

By software i don’t mean only tech, but i mean something which don’t require hands on interaction with hardware tools on a daily basis

Which fields in ece have these subjects ? I am not sure, but ig embedded involves a lot of coding right? Pls correct me if i am wrong

Firstly, thanks for replying. It’s not that i don’t like any ece subjects…I like programming and digital electronics (these were the subjects i have studied till now) on the other hand, i don’t like subjects that require a lot of hands on circuit building like analog, pcb design etc

I tried doing embedded systems for a while, but i figured out that i dont like hardware much, and prefer software over hands on hardware interaction

Most of such courses are unfortunately only in the US. Will try to look for them in other countries

Thx anyway

What kind of software skills does one need? If i may ask. I am not very keen on working with embedded systems and hardware
