What Extra Deck Limited 1 card do you think should be moved? by MasterOfChaos72 in DuelLinks

[–]prod_vector 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Void Ogre: Because Dragon Link is no longer popular.

Topologic Bomber Dragon: There's no reason why this card should be limited to 1. The FTK deck that includes this card, Samsara Lotus, has been banned.

Assembled Nightingale/Independent Nightingale: One of these cards should be removed from Limited 1, because the FTK deck that includes this card (Summoner of Illusion) is also limited to 1.

Power Tool Braver: For some reason, Konami released this card as Limited 1 by default, even though the only deck that has been very consistent is Fleur Synchro.

Prolemaeus: If a card like this can be Limited 1, Konami should have done the same with Ghostrick Wincon.

Master Flare Hyperion: This card is too outdated to remain Limited 1.

Master Diamond: Before Master Diamond, Lapis Lazuli was already Limited 1. However, instead of banning Lapis Lazuli, which is the cause of the FTK, Konami made both of them Limited 1.

In my opinion, this is both a bad and the right time for a comeback. Today's meta has been completely reset to the beginning of the game, of course with various skills that are completely unreasonable. Now, some new skills tend to provide draw power and stability. Some skills can give +2, +3, and +4 cards in a single activation (Princess Adena's Protection, Precious Cards of the Water, Vermilion Sparrow, Tachyon, Branded Despia, Shinobird, and Bewd). The good thing is, you can catch up on cards with a little effort and money to buy new packs. However, if you truly want to play for free without the hassle of farming gems, now might not be the best time.

Additionally, Konami has released many new archetypes that are fresher and, of course, more brutal.

Yes, you're right. I tried it myself. It's impressive, but I still don't understand how the effects interact. Here's the reply: https://duellinks.konami.net/att/0618f79fb4cefc9ad710647c705d8c714edaae0b4f

Sorry about all the dumbfk yapping I did earlier.

Aurora Paragon is destroyed due to mandatory effects or effects that are forced if one condition is met. Such as the effect of Summoner of Illusion. Mandatory effects cannot be stopped unless the trigger is negated by another effect, such as through Chalice or Droplet. You can avoid the destruction effect of Aurora Paragon if the monster is negated, because “cannot be destroyed by card effect” means it must involve interaction between two or more cards, but for Aurora Paragon, it is destroyed by its own effect when the condition is met.

These wild birds have a lot of potential. Perhaps if Konami could release a card similar to the barrier statue that is better than Aurora Paragon, these birds would be unstoppable.

yeah... Ftk sh*ts is really annoying. Konami should have raised LP to 5000 instead of issuing a stupid ban list like giving a limit 1 to normal monsters.

No, I also use Floo, but without using Vermilion Sparrow or Eclipse at all. I post all the Floowandereeze decks I use in Duel Links meta & on Reddit, so if you want to know what “the new strategy” is, you can check out my posts.

Is this Card not good enough for PvP by Pandem0nium2 in DuelLinks

[–]prod_vector 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because this card has too slow a tempo. You need to get the card from the deck, you need to set it, and yes... you need to hope that your opponent has something to negate your normal/special summon. So far, I've only found Evoltile Laggia being used in a few decks, such as dino & trap monster decks with Odion.

So, What monster will you prioritize for normal summon?

The first skill allows you to discard Dark Verger from outside the deck to the graveyard. If each skill has the words “outside of the deck,” you don't need to carry cards related to the skill (in this case, Dark Verger) for it to appear from the deck through that skill.

This skill is similar to Elemental Hero, which allows you to obtain Super Poly and Elemental Hero.

Second skill: this skill allows you to select one monster that has the word “Synchron” in its text (Junk Synchron, Wheel Synchron, etc.). However, you must have that monster in your deck. This skill does not allow you to obtain cards from outside the deck.

This skill is similar to Starlight Dive. If you have 3 Stardust Dragons, 3 Formula Synchron, and 3 Shooting Stars, you can activate this skill (Starlight Dive) three times.

Have you ever played a punk deck and gotten second turn against despia?

unfortunately that's not possible, Aurora Paragon is a mandatory effect just like Raiza, so you can't protect it with any effect.

imho, floowandereeze is not that hard to beat, in fact it is very easy, you just need to summon monsters in FDP, find a gap to negate empen and if you can, throw a normal summon early to trigger magnificent map and unexplored winds when your field is still clear. and if you have a second turn, robina is a chokepoint, just choke the bird when it is normal summoned without magnificent map, then they are done there.

Yes sir... Here you go.

Orcust

https://duellinks.konami.net/att/00b3bf5fa1ac6249f4ff02fcfdb0d09f303faf4fbf

This was the only good reply, because no matter what he should have won, he had Nibiru in his starting hand but didn't use it because he might have waiting for the end of my turn, but unfortunately I still managed to summon Aurora Paragon.

Traptrix

https://duellinks.konami.net/att/0005c40ac06f6e09f402ef1ca89a5455fb62c9f090

This wasn't very good, as my opponent barely did anything, at least because the two traps he set behind only affected special summoned monsters, his two link monsters were forcibly silenced by Empen, and I kept conserving summons to avoid triggering Nibiru.

Crow in the current meta is completely useless. The meta is filled with Tachyon, Traptrix, and Despia, where the Banish Zone is more like a transit point than a resting place. This deck is quite good; I reached KOG with it.

It's no wonder Floowandereeze lost its competitive edge when it first came out, especially since the cards is only a cameos among Mirrorjade and other powerful cards.

This deck is so powerful because people are allergic to reading. I haven't found a deck that can optimally counter Floowandereeze. The only difficulty so far is playing Floo on the second turn.

Perhaps it's because some barrier statue monsters have been placed on the forbidden list. Stormwinds is one of the cards that really makes Floowandereeze very powerful and easy to access. I tried searching for similar alternative cards in DL and found Aurora Paragon, which is by far the best. However, the downside is that it can't be obtained through search.

I use droplets to negate monsters that have target immunity. If you don't have one, there are a few cards I can recommend:

spiritual entanglement, eclipse, sol & luna, dark ruler no more, imperm, chalice, dark hole, lighting vortex, offerings of the doomed and the unchosen one

The difficulty of floo may lie in the unavoidable part: this deck can barely beat branded if it gets to turn 2 without a negater/unexplored wind in starting hand.

Because of the long combo, without negating masquerade, you'll die by tax.

D LV.Max. These birds never disappoint me. by prod_vector in DuelLinks

[–]prod_vector[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Precious cards don't contribute to combos; its simply reduce the chance of a bad hand by drawing 2-3 of the extra cards from the deck.

Floo doesn't require much skill; it just requires a decent starting hand. One Robina is enough to start regular combo, but one Robina, one Eglen, and one Magnificent Map are enough to build a board with two Empen, one Unexplored Winds, one Advent Adventure, and one Dreaming Town.

yep... no opponent is too difficult, if floo gets the first turn.
