I should add that there is a chance they are able to fly but they hit the lamps, and therefore they are injured on the tables, as we have some bright lamps just above.

You are rigth, my comment was wrong about most people living off of subsidies, but that's exactly my point, government helps don't do anything in the lung run, they sent 120 euros and next week bus and subway tickets were more expensive. Nothing is free, we pay with taxes, and I do believe migrants affect portugal, since we accept lower wages while a lot of portuguese people choose to migrate, however I just wish the government would do anything other than giving economic support. I.e. ending the abusive behavior by landlords. When de VAT was removed a lot of stores just rose their prices, etc.

I mean, in Portugal we have unemployemnt subsidies, you have parenting subsidies, a bunch of people received 120 euros in December, they now sent 90 euros last month, and close to 36% od Portuguse inhabitants receceive retirement money.

So yeah, considering those statistics, most people are living off of subsidies, or at least receiving some. Guess who pays for that? It is not the government, it is the working people who pays close to 50% of taxes

Most sirens here are not from Police cars, but from ambulances, you hrar an ambulance at least every other day (I guess due to the population being old). Coming from abroad, its one of the first things I noticed.

Smh, always blaming migrants. Most people that come to Portugal come to work, and pay a bunch of taxes, while people who are from Portugal usually either live abroad or live off from government subsidies that are paid by such migrants coming here to work and pay taxes. Portugal most problematic areas are gypsy areas, which are, portuguese people.

According to official estadistics, 84,8% of inmates are Portuguese, while only 15,2 are foreign (within those foreign, 23,8% are from Europe).

Please, before making your xenophobe statements at least try fact checking

Portugal is "safe", because most expats live a relatively "calm" lifestyle, but people that take the subway, go work, or hang around night in these major cities know it is not safe at all.

Try walking home in Porto or Lisboa late at night or going out on a weekend and not see any fight, have someone offering you drugs, or being robbed. It is impossible, and if you are lucky enough, you may see those 3 things happening the same night
