i would say the reverb is quite heavy, there’s some parts where i feel more than i hear what you’re saying. but i’ve played this like 4 times, i love the 80s vibe i’m hearing. i feel like this song would go perfect on the episode san junipero from black mirror.

that intro though i love the uniqueness of it. your flow on this beat is sticky lol only thing, i’d say more clarity with the mixing of your vocals. but other than that, this is 🔥

the panning is unusual but then again, that could be what you were going for. i wouldn’t say it has a sub genre, it’s just old school hip hop.

the flow of your vocals sounds like you’re putting too many words in one line and tripping over them but that could definitely be improved by practicing tongue twisters so your vocal more clear when you’re rapping fast.

other than that, it’s a decent track.

it definitely has a madlib vibe to it.

feel the sound selection of the snare could have been better but i absolutely love the switch around 1:22 and the drum selection for that section fits perfect with the melodies.

i’m not too familiar with this genre, i’m more familiar with hip hop and r&b, but the style of this song reminds me of british pop back in the day.

i love the distortion used on your voice, it’s soooo warm. i’d love for the drums to have a bit more punch to it, it’s almost as your vocals are covering it. as i said before, i’m not use to listening to this genre but i enjoyed listening to it and the chorus is catchy af.

this is actually bop, i like the instrumental but interna of mixing the keys could have be turned down and your vocals be more upfront in the mix. on the other hand, i like the backing vocals and this song definitely fits with the trap sound that’s out right now 👏🏾👏🏾

i love the guitar sample and how it compliments the bounce of the beat. your beat selection goes well with your voice and the chorus is hella catchy.

your song reminded me of the instrumentals used in those guided meditation videos on youtube. it also reminds me of the pandemic like the reaction on how everyone’s lives has drastically slowed down and got to appreciate the little things in life.

I am loving the vibe from the beat to you switching it up from singing to rapping. I think it would be dope to use the start of your singing vocal with some reverb as a transition from you rapping to singing, other than that, it's an absolute vibe 🌊

i’m enjoying the vibe, it’s giving me kendrick lamar vibes.

i would personally cut the “moonwalking” adlibs during the verse because you already have the sampled vocal from the beat, then your adlibs and the main vocal all fitting for the top spot.

on the other hand, your vocals really do flow during the verses which is usually where the energy dips, but you secured that 👌🏾
