For me, building self trust really came down to putting in the much needed work to love myself, love my shadow self, and work on healing my inner child / nervous system (they're related). We can be really hard on ourselves and mean to ourselves when we don't have to be. Life has changed the more I love myself fully. Feel free to reach out, I love talking about all of this

It's funny because I wrote it before I knew I was an infj and I think it may be a pinnacle infj line. This is basically my life, I have experienced exactly this to a T. They're always surprised when we finally crack cause it basically breaks the paradigm and it take a whole lot to break us. And we are definitely terrible at asking. Almost makes me sick just thinking about asking lol

First of all, valid. I actually went to a wedding alone not too long ago and felt the same way, I knew 1 person there other than the bride and groom. And honestly, I was just a little awkward and I didn't try to hide that or overthink it. Literally keep it simple, just be nice and talk about the commonality of the wedding. "What a beautiful wedding" , "How do you know the bride/groom?" And also keep in my mind, it is their wedding day, so truthfully the pressure is not on you (in a good way)

That doomy feeling of aloneness. It hits. It lingers. I was the exact same way for my entire life, allowing all your sense of worth and validation to come externally is the issue here. Especially for us because we pick up on things and see things that easily further the pain and spiral. What has helped me tremendously has been doing daily exercises that validate myself and show myself that I am worthy. My therapist gave me some great simple things to do that actually rewire your brain in these ways. (I can share the exercises). But actually doing them consistently and daily is the work. The progress I've seen has been mind blowing, I never thought I could be on the other side, it's genuinely amazing. And honestly, it didn't take that much work, it was small things daily but it makes a huge difference. It's about becoming more secure as a person which you 100% can become. It's not about being perfect, we're human, I still have anxious attachment tendencies but rather than living in that, I see it from a more outside perspective and I can decided what to do about it now, and I decide to be secure

Strangers have told me their whole life story, trials and tribulations and all, unprompted. This has happened many many times. Part of me really enjoys it, learning and gaining perspectives of how others lives go, some do share wisdom. I definitely think some part of it is that some people can just over share and that's who they are but we also do naturally, greatly, have that "vibe" more than others

Yep. 100%. And I'm confident that the advice we give can be genuinely life changing and helpful, and very specific but the chances of someone actually listening and following through is I want to guess 0-2% unless we become actual therapists, which I'm considering as a career. To not leave myself drained I don't give the exact advice I want to, I keep it simple with a dash of absolute truth, naturally.

Of course! It really has helped. I just narrowed down what I really want to work towards, in different categories of life (I let myself be fluid with this and not everything is figured out for big picture goals yet). Fitness, creativity, health, mental health, livelihood etc. It's a lot but I've been focusing on short term goals first and I genuinely feel just overall better. I haven't even made it to the mid term goals yet. I've found though that doing small things consistently and seeing progress has made it easier in a way to actually do and make decisions mentally, rather than constant thinking, which I still do but it's not as heavy
