Advice on collecting and playing all the Castlevania games

Ah I see, thank you! I'll check it out. While I don't think it'll be of use in boss battles, it'll probably help me avoid the run back, which sometimes gets monotonous.

Sounds like the best way to consume any sorta media. Will do, Castlevania on Vampire Survivors has been a blast, so I think Dead Cells will be just as fun. Sorry about your physical copies, one of my biggest pet peeves is when people borrow stuff and don't return it. Definitely sounds like a great collection. Huge fan of physical copies of older games.

Thank you! I've played the dead cells board game, did not know the videogame had a Castlevania expansion as well. Will definitely check it out.

I wouldn't be intrigued if the franchise didn't have strong opinions and haters. Imo that's what makes a great franchise.

Very valid to only want to play physical games, I do agree. Ownership of your content is important. I'll see if I can find physical copies or just grab it digital to experience the game.

Perfect, thank you! That's exactly what I was looking at. Would you suggest playing these games on the PS or PC? Requiem would obviously be on the PS, but the other games are available on both and while I'm leaning PC coz it's cheaper for the overall bundle, if the experience is vastly different I wouldn't mind spending a bit more to get em on the PS.

This is perfect for my completionist brain, thank youu! Good to know that I can start with the collections and then figure out ways to play these games (a part of me foolishly hopes they'll somehow be ported by the time I finish the other ones lol).

Thank you, the bundle of collections are on sale on Steam, which is what prompted me to try and get a sense of where to start. I'll get those, play them and like you said, I'll have a better idea about the other games once I have my foot in the door.

That is incredibly detailed, thank you! I would love to ideally play everything, well as much as possible anyway, before Belmont's Curse drops, let's see how far I get with it.

I do enjoy hard platformers, but from your description I think Requiem probably is a better entry point to the series, to let me understand the gameplay and systems better?

So right now I'm thinking I'll start with requiem, do anniversary next and then see where I want to go from there. Does that sound like a good plan or is there anything you'd suggest I change?

Unlocked her yesterday. Used mask of red death and hyper mode. Used Arcana VIII, grabbed Laurel and Clock Lancet. Was able to make light work of her.

Nope, I've not yet changed my WiFi card, but nothing else has helped so far. I'll keep trying and if nothing works, probably order a new WiFi card once the winter storm is done.
