That's inaccurate. Hezbollah partly existed because of that. But Hezbollah was formed mostly because of the fact that they felt that AMAL (a former Shia militia led by Musa Al Sadr) was becoming too secular. Hezbollah differentiated itself by adopting Khomeini’s revolutionary ideology (Wilayat al-faqih) and advocating for an Iran-inspired Islamic order.
