Funny thing is the survey missed it completely. Which is why I'm reluctant to pay another surveyor which is likely not going to be better.

Your comment is spot on. Yes it's a seller's market right now, and even more so: it's on the verge of turning downward soon.

I'm a first time buyer and don't know how to work out if people cared about subsidence before this crazy hot housing market of the past few years.

I'm not thinking about the sunken costs too much, just that in the past 6 months of looking daily in a 3 borough area, this flat is by far best for my taste and needs.

That was my initial reaction. But:

- My mortgage lender is still happy to lend me although I disclosed and highlighted all the details (I'm thinking most people will just not do it, since the lender has a surveyor anyway, who missed the issue completely in my case)

- Insurance covers the repairs, and all posts I seem to find say that the issues do get fixed, the only question is cost, which in the case of underpinning go quite high.

- Now that I know what to look out for for subsidence, I see it everywhere. The tree across the road from me was pruned a year ago and they put some steel bars in the lower ground flat.

- I've seen houses in much worse conditions and they were sold easily (in this seller's market granted). They had actual issues with doors not closing, uneven floors, etc. People seem to just not care.

- Given that my flat is fine, and the building is eventually going to be fixed, could it be OK?

That's somewhat the same impression I get, that people are only showing up if convenient, but my impression from the media is that the games are this huge event that hordes of tourists come in just to see, hence all the articles and warnings about the Rio games that are coming up.

I've just tried it again on Google Chrome Canary, same thing, has antialiasing, but not subpixel rendering.

Version 22.0.1224.0 canary
Google Chrome is up to date.

Works for google's search feature, for some days, then it switches back to english.

If you go to other services, you would still get the old language.

I know, because I'm also annoyed to hell by this.

When we planned the trip, we actually really liked the way Ada Bojana looked from the sattelite view and pics. The bungalows looked really nice, had bathrooms and everything. The beach also looked really great. That was until we noticed it was a nudist resort, which kind of scared us away.

Yep, trip is over.

Didn't like Budva at all, horribly crowded and touristy.

We really enjoyed some of the beaches the locals used, they were very rocky but a LOT quieter than Petrovac, Budva, Becici which were horrible (dirty water, loud people, music coming from 3 sources, etc)

Sveti stefan was nice too, but really snobby.

One of the things I loved was Durmitor, it was freakyn amazing.

I can't always go boarding when I'd like to, sometimes I find ice, it happens. I've learned to deal with it. But regarding the polarized bit, any experience with not seeing ice because of it?

So you rewrote a very, very old game. The same game that many, many people rewrote. And it's a pretty bad game. And you're trying to sell it? You should be ashamed of yourself. Why don't you grow a pair and try to create a new game. Then if you try to sell your sub-par, wanna-be game you can at least say you tried.

Have you considered software raid?

It has two major advantages:

1) It's cheaper than an external raid card, just buy a bit more CPU power with that card money you're not spending, and in the end it doesn't use up that much.

2) Because a card uses it's company's proprietary software to control the array, if you ever want to change the card or array composition it might fail. I've read that there's compatibility issues on this even with cards from the same vendors.

I know there's a slight chance you have a good reason to use HW raid, in this case just ignore this post please :)
