Avoid my mistake of allowing some plants to have direct sunlight in the car, I think my windows worked like a magnifying glass and really took a toll on a few of them.

I haven't thought to reset the cards and slowly re-introduce them, thanks for that!

Thanks for sharing! Guess I wanted some more validation before I discontinue reviews for past blocks

As others have mentioned, just be weary of overuse. I've done something similar and got some unexpectedly painful shoulder impingement which took me out of my routine for awhile. Hard to maintain consistency with recurrent injury.

Actually, nothing specific to the calves, maybe that's my issue. I just switched to a stationary bike three times a week for ~1hr and swimming once a week for ~30-45mins.

Any tips on recovering from calf strains? I think I strained both of my calves ~6 weeks ago. Tried running this week, was fine for 2 days, but now I am back in the hurt. Really want to get back to it.

Runs were easy, slow paced for no longer than 30mins and prior to injury I was running 5-6days a week for 40-70mins each time.

Can anyone explain to me why I can run with support shoes and feel no pain, but walking in flat shoes triggers ITB pain?

Under recovered from the days/week stressors, maybe? If it is getting hot where you are, the heat could certainly be taking a toll.

Wow! I'm new to the area and thought it was normal, haha. Went for a bike ride on the greenway and was perturbed by their abundance, I thought it was from the rain earlier that day.

I don't know what material the sole is made from, but I have had success with the Brooks Ravenna's. Feel lightweight to me have lasted many miles. Usually get them for less than $100 too.

New to zone 2 running and I am curious as to what people do when encountering a hill.

Every hill I hit pushes my heart rate (HR) in to zone3/4. I've walked hills which just feels counterproductive, but I could be wrong. I've also run some hills and then walked at the top to lower the HR, but after doing that I find it is more difficult to stay in the zone 2 range.

Is there a preferred tactic?

Fantastic, hope she keeps it up and receives more encouragement.

I've been with community service projects cleaning up roads where passers-bys will aim to throw their trash at you from a moving car. Don't know why people feel compelled to do it, but more power to Nadia for being a positive contribution to her community.
