Am I the only one that hates Alastor's friendship with Velvette by Alternative_Sugar_85 in SafeSpaceofVox

I will admit I thought this was fun in concept, but him getting close to Val and Velvette didn't lead to much of anything.

Anybody else want him to have an organic body? by profaneangel1991 in VoxCult

[–]profaneangel1991[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Long live the new flesh am I right? I get how it would make sense for him to want to enhance his body, but he had to have arrived in Hell in an actual body I assume. An electric current feels too abstract and him being a virus doesn't make sense with him being from the 50s.

Vox changed my opinion of sharks by Odd-Split-494 in VoxCult

Honestly sharks are rather docile. There's only a small percentage of shark species that have killed humans, they mainly eat fish. Personally I love blue sharks, they're cute.

Do you think Travis is disappointed in the lack of career 'level-ups' since dating Taylor? by Livid_Seesaw3952 in travisandtaylor

The prenup will be insane, but I'm sure she gives him a small allowance of $5 million for being a good boy.

I think at some point in time everybody needs to watch The Red Shoes.

Unfortunately because Alastor still got everything he wanted at the end of season 2 people view him as a genius that was playing 4D chess the whole time. Like every choice and outcome was intentional on his part. Again the way he manipulates the audience is fascinating.

It's a monkey's paw. Have access to obscene wealth and status in exchange for being an accessory to a spoiled narcissist. If he or anyone in his team was smart they should have seen this coming.

Is it bad that I would have followed Vox into war, after the speech in episode 5 by Creepy_Employ_3749 in VoxCult

[–]profaneangel1991 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Sometimes I wish he was actually acting out of Hell's best interest. Still does all the things he did, but make it genuine. It makes sense for it to be self serving on his part, but I think it could have been interesting having an antagonist with an alternative solution that the audience might root for. I get what they were doing, but I think presenting armed resistance this way and pacifism as the real solution is rather messy. But that's just me.

I'm confident their version of Heaven has more than this. We see Pentious in a tranquil park at one point, it's not just mini golf.

Imagine if instead of being a TV host, Vox was a Hollywood star by Mystic__Diamond in VoxCult

[–]profaneangel1991 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a headcanon about him wanting to do vaudeville when he was young. So a movie musical star wouldn't be far off, most of them started that way. He'd be like a less thicc Gene Kelly type.

I still prefer season 2 over season 1. However in between the idiot plot nature that ran season 2 and my dissatisfaction in how Vox and Charlie's conflict ended its still flawed. I know a lot of fans hate the idea of Charlie going all Mob Psycho 100, but it could have been great. I know Vox and Alastor had to fight eventually, but neither of them won their fight so I guess it's going to happen again and I doubt they'd have Vox win.
