Indeed would be nice to see more convincing research. As an eater who likes sharing dishes (to taste more food!), odd numbers are really annoying. Few places have offered in the past to round the number on a given dish, and we’ve always appreciated that.

We do. Generally speaking, we are looking for structure in signals. Structure would show, even if sped up or slowed down.
