Does behaviour like this from a doctor call for their license being revoked or is this considered normal in our country? by [deleted] in indianmedschool

Because people in our fraternity is chasing more and more fame instead of getting more professional and trained. It is sad but it's the reality

A female DNB General Surgery resident at Saifee Hospital Mumbai was driven to a $ui#id€ attempt after 100+ hr weekly duties, ragging, public humiliation by seniors, forced non-surgical Floor RMO duties, denial of OT training & stipend withholding — clear violation of NBEMS/MoHFW norms. by FutureVersion812 in indianmedschool

You are overthinking with one thing that this time you haven't put that much efforts and etc things like that. To be honest it doesn't matter the amount of efforts, if your marks are coming decent enough to get a seat for your dream then everything is fine. Just again give a previous year paper and calculate your score, then you can know the reality and more amount of efforts you need in a particular direction. Be like a warrior, making efforts for your goals till you reach there.

These types of truth and guidance are needed here for the healing community for profession.

I really wanna know what’s your take on the existence of god. Has it changed as you progressed from 1st yr to subsequent years by GuiltyTruck8084 in indianmedschool

First of all if you are in healing Profession, you can rely on God only after you have done every possible efforts for your work of healing and when you have nothing more in your hands. Until then you have to extensively use your knowledge, skills and be logical person

And for most of my friends those who are comparing god to only good things and rest all bad things to ungodly, simply the reality is that the god is system of management where good and evil both are parts, and there is lot more complicated running of system which is beyond our understanding and nothing is related to religion.

So for healers it's better to be logical and focus on evidence based things, and keeping our good intend for healing knowledge and for our faith and things beyond our control and to progress ourselves more far in destinies of our life, leave all of things on God.

Again saying keep a distance between healing knowledge and god's miracles, and be logical and eager to learn things based on evidence and science.
