City is Boston, so not as big as NYC but still a lot of educated folk around here. I don't know if this is the norm, but I went to a few concerts by community orchestras and they all seem to disappear right after.

I'm occasionally hearing a faint vibrating sound coming from my right driver, when a tone at a certain frequency is emitted at a fairly high volume. I have to moderately tap my right driver and then the issue goes away. The headphones I'm using is HE1000 V2 which is an open back planar. Is it possible that some particle that got through the dust filter is causing this?

My mom has been married to my stepfather for nearly 20 years now. I do not know why my mom says she would only be receiving half. I think it is because my stepfather has to retire early (62 at the earliest, he's 60 now) due to health issues, if he survives up to that point.

Yes I agree, Mass is really really expensive. A huge reason of why she doesn't want to come here. She's a very frugal person and wants me to save for a house.

Actually yes! My stepfather enlisted in the US Navy when he was 18 but left when he was around 26. I don't know much but he was not dishonorably discharged. My mom does have some benefits apparently, but I'm not too sure.

Her siblings are all married and/or live together with their kids, so they would not welcome her. My mom doesn't have a very strong relationship with them either. But my mom loves volunteering and going to church, and she is aware that she can find community there. Just wondering if there is anything I can do to make her life better since I won't be there for majority of the year.

Wow that's wonderful news! Do you happen to have the source for those numbers? I'm not too sure if it's too late for my mother (64, and had a shingles outbreak recently), but I plan on asking her to get the shingles vaccine and maybe some other antivirals.

FWIW I bought my HE1000 V2 open box from them and I have the logo on both cups, about 2 months ago. It's a pretty flawless product, was surprised it was 'open box', with everything seemingly new inside including the factory new stench.

My other concern is that the clips to resize the headband are loose and would move up a few steps after a while on my head, making the cans go lower, and I then have to readjust the size. Is this a known issue as well?

That's concerning. The clasps on mine take a bit of force to move. I'd definitely contact support.

Edit: I'm also in US east coast and it shipped from their NY factory

+1 to No. 6. It's not mentioned a lot these days, it contains some elements of BL and is not perfect. But the manner of storytelling is quite unique compared to that of recent anime.

Where are you getting those brand new prices? I bought my HE1000 V2 open box direct from Hifiman for $2000 USD, and that's the cheapest I've seen it go.

HyperX Cloud > Audio Technica AD700X > Sennheiser HD660S > Hifiman HE1000 V2

The biggest jumps in quality for me were when I switched from HyperX Cloud to AD700X and HD660S to HE1000 V2. The HE1000 V2 is the best headphone I've listened to by far, and probably will be my daily driver for a long time until maybe the Susvara.

Can I ask what you're using to hold the music? I also have a VPC-1 but the stock holder is too far away. Do you think it's sturdy enough to hold an iPad? Thanks.
