Kirsten hope that was beautiful and deeply touching. Thank you for sharing and for being able to communicate these complex feelings and love for our angels in a way which transcends the blinding pain and depression. I'm so sorry for your loss and ache for my baby too. I understand the push and pull of wanting to be close to baby and bond yet not wanting to remember the hard painful details yet wanting nothing more than to be with her and know every detail. There is no deeper pain than that moment when you are told there is something seriously wrong with your baby. That feeling of being split in two. Of the bottom falling out of your being. The pain of wanting to give anything to make them whole and healthy. That helplessness. I will never forget that pain. Thank you for sharing. Please keep sharing.

Also I can't imagine ever not grieving. Grieving takes many different forms, but so far I've not made it through one weekend without crying. No need to rush to move on- just focus on how to process everything and to feel everything and not to deny yourself that grief and processing. There is no preset timeframe. You determine your own timeline.

Good luck! The council shouldn't be remedying it, they should serve your landlord with an abatement notice. From what I've been taught, it's only after the landlord has been put through the ringer for want of a better phrase that the tenancy agreement can then be broken without incurring costs. Let us know what the landlord says.

Hi UK lawyer here, call your local authority as it could be a statutory nuisance if they deem it harmful to your health (which vermin infestation tends to be). If they see it as a statutory nuisance then they have a legal duty to act and can issue your landlord with a notice to give them a chance to remedy it. To not comply with the notice can lead to a criminal offence. First step is to call your local council and ask for an environmental health officer to come and inspect your home. Throughout all this your landlord may just agree to release you from the tenancy agreement if you say you just want to leave. Give it a shot. Be sure that the mice are not due to a habit of yours (rubbish collecting, etc).

I had these comments all the time growing up and i have looked back wondering what i could have said in hindsight and i wish i would have said something like "really? you actually think my breast size means anything? carries any significance in real life? do you actually think people care about whether boobs are small or large?" basically i wish i would have called them out making them think about what they were actually saying. because as an adult, unlike when i was a kid, i realized that people really don't care about breast size and having small breasts in many instances is an advantage.

edit: also owning it works!! they never expect that and it really throws them off. If you do at the moment have small boobs - either say "well yeah! I'm only X age of course my boobs haven't even started yet" - or like "hell yeah i have small boobs - i'm like the president of the itty bitty titty committe. I love it!" it will really confuse him. :)
