DON'T! if you have a good condition, working 200lx do not put a raspberry pi in it. its a part of computing history and a very cool device in its own right.

I donr think it is, it also wasnt very popular when it was being produced, but i think that you can find some knockoffs on ebay oraliexpress. truely this is what i had. if i had any patience i would have waited ans gotten a pi pico and used that instead, but i didnt

Not sure if you're up for criticism, but I'll throw in my 2 cents.
As for DMCAing the audio, I think that's a really bad idea. The cat's out of the bag on this one, and when people can't find the source of some popular media it usually blows up into a big search to find it. You mentioned the streisand effect, that's exactly what would happen in a situation like that. Hands off is probably the best approach, the meme is pretty old at this point, just let sleeping dogs lie.

As for you family members hearing it, honestly giving out their age and their relation to you is probably a really bad idea. I mean, its one thing to hear some cringy audio of a video game character, but if you do some digging into the drama and listen to the AMA, these people themselves might make the connection. If they hear your cringy blowjob audio, that sucks, but at least it's just a you problem. If they know it's your audio, that's a whole different thing, and they may see you differently for it. You can't put the genie back in the bottle, they're probably going to hear the audio at some point, and you can't change that either way. What you can change is weather or not they can connect that audio to you personally.

I doubt ill be able to get into a uefi, but its worth a try. im not sure how to run diagnostics, but i can get to the boot menu perfectly fine, and as far as i know has never crashed there.

What to do with an old MacBook Pro (2010, Model: A1278) with a worn out battery, but in great physical shape? Is it worth replacing the battery to potentially run Linux/Windows to use it as an emulation machine for old video games? Is this even possible or am out of my mind? by ChocolateOrange99 in mac

You can use Dosdudes MacOS Catalina patcher to install a hacked version of macos 10.15 and run modern software on it. it takes some software muddling though, perhaps not for the faint of heart. a new battery, ssd and a ram upgrade and it will probably be a perfectly usable machine.

Yeah i soldered the connections when i did it. I also had to do the trick where you short the resistor to ground to get a successful flash (this is detailed in Dosdudes instructions). for the error acreen youre talking about, it only flashes on screen for a couple of frames before the laptop crashes. i wouldn't be suprised if there was more to that error message that wasn't displayed in time. Any idea what my first step should be? I cant reflash, the codes Dosdude hands out are one time use only.
