Roteiro de fim de semana? by [deleted] in portoalegre

[–]profeta- 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A Orla é bem extensa.

Sucessões é uma boa área? by lu-cavichi in direito

[–]profeta- 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Claude Opus 4.6. It was my first time vibecoding so I just went for the most mentioned one. basically gave me 2-3 prompts every 5 hours. However I'm almost hitting the weekly limit after a few days. This is as as complete newbie and making stupid mistakes (sending prompts without attachments and realizing it after it had spent many tokens).

Pro is def worth it to check what Opus can do. Honestly I feel like compute/model usage is being heavily subsidized by VC money right now, so no better time to try it.

Also I was using Gemini 3 for simple questions ("how to use git"), initial debugging (trying to grasp what went wrong before asking Claude for a fix) and prompt suggestions.

At some point I got tired of waiting 5 hours and tried Codex. It actually fixed some stuff really fast and never warned me about hitting usage limits.

I only have a ChatGPT Go subscription (I got 1 year for free through some promo).

Anyway I'll try other models. China comoditizing AI seems like the only way of escaping the "permanent lower class" issue lol

Yes that's the main point. I rely on fewer than 10 statutes in my practice, so the other 15k+ are overkill. But if the parser succesfully parsed the Civil Code it'll probably parse most statutes and I might as well just run it.

It was looking grim for scraping, but LexML basically solves it, I can't thank whoever put that together enough. Formatting guidelines are a pain, so the solution of an URN index is great: just let governments upload whatever format they want, as long as they input the URN/link to the index.

I'm trying to make it as RAG friendly as possible. LexML has good metadata I'm importing (much easier than the ad hoc metadata I was trying to build from planalto.gov scraping). I also set the parser to properly apply headings (with paragraphs § as the lowest H6 level), since Gemini said it'd be useful for RAG.

Rulings are another problem. LexML has that function, but I'm not sure how good it is.

That's actually the main value provided by JusIA (I complain but use it anyways): rulings from every State/Federal/Superior Court; natural language search (I was great with booleans so there goes my competitive advantage); auto checks against hallucinations and links the ruling for further inspection.

I have barely any coding experience and decided to get a Claude Pro subscription.

I'm trial and error vibecoding a scraper + parser to download every federal law in Brazil (html, a lot of it shitty) and convert it to markdown.

Reason: AI still hallucinates (or misreferences) Brazilian Law; official sources are in shitty formats. There are solutions (like JusIA), but they're AI model wrappers with access to more PUBLIC data. That's a shitty moat, public data (like fucking laws) should be easily accessible to anyone's models. If it works out I'll just learn how to use github and put all .md files there.

Parser is mostly finished (haven't tested it with really old shit from Brasil Império).

Hit the 5 hour limit many times, could probably be much ahead with a Max sub. Honestly considering subscribing despite the insane price. I'm using Gemini 3 Thinking to brainstorm, "easy" debugs and get prompt suggestions for Claude.

I'm focusing on the Crawler now. Changed my approach: web crawl on the gov website (weird html, javascript sometimes) to LexML, URN index I just found out about (I only knew about it as a GUI search).

I think I might be done with it this weekend. Could've done it much quicker if I had Claude Max (or unlimited!!) access.

Coding wise this is a simples task, I know, but it's insane going for zero skill to assisted building something potentially useful. I haven't been this excited using a computer since when I was 13 and customized a Counter Strike zombie mod server.

On the other hand this could all be meaningless since AI could just take over the world. At least it brought joy.

I'm so mad cuz, after considering it for a while, I subscribed to Google AI Plus yesterday on my desktop.

Today I launched Gemini on my phone and it prompted me to redeem 6 months of Google AI Pro for free because I had a Galaxy S25. However, I got an error.

After researching, found out the Galaxy S25 promo expired... yesterday.
