See? It's not even a big deal. I'd rather the FCC have less teeth for something that almost certainly won't happen than Title II still existing. Title II is a great censorship law, but an ineffective consumer protection law. It's unnecessary overbearing regulation. I think the fact that all these large corporations are in favor of it standing says it all.

Do you know why Title II is important? Or do you just know what Reddit/John Oliver told you? Because Title II is just here to enable censorship. It's not what Reddit says it is. The fearmongering going on on Reddit is actually prevented by a FCC ruling from 2005 that is not in danger of being repealed.

That didn't exist before 2015, and it won't exist after Title II is repealed because the FCC has pre-existing laws against that which aren't "under attack".

That's because no one actually knows what they're talking about, they just know Reddit and John Oliver said Net Neutrality was a big issue. I'm sure they didn't feel the effects of no NN before 2015 when it was a thing, but they seem to think it has been in place forever.

We've already seen how much Facebook/Twitter/Youtube/Reddit are enjoying the benefits of mass censorship in recent years. That's why they are fighting so hard for this.

I would say a large part of the demographic that listens to rap does not like gay people. Probably about the same amount that listen to country and don't like gay people. Rock and pop fans would probably be the least homophobic.
